Ari Lennox regrets dating “toxic” men while ignoring “sweet” men who are getting married and raising families while she’s still single.

The 34-year-old R&B singer and songwriter made the comments in a podcast interview on SiriusXM.

“I think I have a thing for [men with] toxic energy,” she said in a recent episode of “Effective Immediately” podcast.

“I think there’s still some more healing that I need to do,” she added. “When I look back on all of these [toxic] energies… it’s a shame I gave them so much time and there were [men with] sweet energies that I didn’t.”

Now that she’s getting older, Ari says she sees those sweet men getting married and starting families.

Meanwhile, the dating pool is shrinking for picky women like her who only date thugs and other toxic men.

“I’m just like dang that could’ve been me if I recognized the security in those individuals at the time… I’m definitely feeling that now. I’m aware there’s something going on. There’s something wrong,” she said.

When asked what attracts her to men with toxic energy, Ari said they “just seemed really exciting at first. The chemistry is incredible… And they don’t even always be fine. It’s not even like they’re sexy or something. I mean, well, they’re sexy but they don’t be the finest things I’ve ever seen.”

Ari said men with sweet energies are boring. “I could see myself falling asleep a little bit on the phone. So I don’t know if that’s, like, if boring is good or not. I’m trying to figure out what that means…”

Man who won $5K a week may lose his home after PCH went bankrupt

A 61-year-old man who won $5,000 a week from Publishers Clearing House is now struggling to find a job after PCH went bankrupt.

John Wyllie believed he would never have to work again after he won $5,000 a week for life from the PCH Prize Patrol in 2012.

“Only Publishers Clearing House can make you so rich, so fast!” an old PCH TV commercial said.

The PCH Prize Patrol surprised Wyllie with a giant sweepstakes certificate at his home in White City, Oregon. The certificate declared he won “$5,000 a week forever.”

Publishers Clearing House deposited a check for $260,000 into his bank account.

Wyllie was able to retire and buy a house in Bellingham, Washington, where he lives with his four dogs and 2 goats.

But the company went bankrupt in July 2025 – and past prize winners stopped receiving their $260,000 annual checks.

Wyllie is one of 10 past winners who didn’t receive a check this year. Now he’s forced to look for a job to pay his bills.

“Why didn’t somebody give me a heads up? ‘Hey, we’re going out of business,'” Wyllie asked. “It’s not a good way to treat anyone.”

Wyllie told KGW8 he hasn’t worked in over a decade. He said his situation “feels like a nightmare.”

“Pretty sure I’m going to lose my home,” he added.

ARB Interactive, which acquired PCH for $7.1 million last year, announced it would only honor prizes won after July 2025.

Past winners likely won’t ever receive their money. Financial experts say they will have to take their chances with the bankruptcy estate.

The law treats past winners as “unsecured creditors,” meaning they must compete with other creditors for whatever money remains in the bankruptcy.

Ricky Williams is one of the lucky ones. He chose a lump sum of $3 million instead of annual payments.

“It worked out pretty good,” Williams, 71, told KGW8. “If I’d been 20 years younger, I would have taken the payments.”

Paris Jackson and Janet Jackson are reportedly unhappy with the “Michael” biopic. Actor Colman Domingo, who plays Joe Jackson, addressed the criticism from Paris, the only daughter of the late Michael Jackson.

“I hope that she eventually loves the tribute that we made about her father,” Domingo told WSJ magazine in a recent interview.

In September, Paris called Colman “dishonest” after he told PEOPLE she was “very helpful” during the production of Michael.

“I read one of the first drafts of the script and gave my notes about what was dishonest [and] didn’t sit right with me and when they didn’t address it I moved on with my life,” Paris wrote in an Instagram Story. “Not my monkeys, not my circus. God bless and godspeed,” she added.

Fans assumed Paris was disappointed in the movie project that premieres in theaters on April 24.

Domingo said his statement to PEOPLE had been “conflated” and “taken out of context.” He said the article was amended to “more fully” reflect what he said.

The actor messaged Paris on Instagram to explain and she responded with a heart emoji.

Director Antoine Fuqua, who began working on the film in January 2023, said Colman’s portrayal of Joe Jackson was so realistic that it “scared the s–t out of” him.

Antoine said Colman captured “the look and his body language and even the way he spoke.”

But Michael’s sister, Janet Jackson allegedly threw a fit after attending a private screening of the movie in Los Angeles.

More than 60 members of the Jackson family attended the private screening. Stacy Brown, a writer who befriended Michael and Jermaine Jackson in the early Jackson 5 years, wrote about Janet’s criticism of the film for Page Six.

Stacy wrote that Janet “began dissecting the film with brutal precision, according to multiple people in the room.”

“She had something negative about almost every scene,” Stacy quoted someone who was there. “The acting, the makeup, how the actors spoke, even how they walked. It was Janet deciding against the room that this movie wasn’t going to meet her approval.”

Rita was 24 when she froze her eggs before repeating the procedure three years later.

She told Women’s Health magazine: “[Back then] a doctor told me it was a really good time to preserve the best quality [eggs]. It was actually the best advice, because now I’m in my mid-thirties and I have a lot of friends really trying to figure it out.”

Rita is stepmother to Taika’s 2 daughters, ages 13 and 9. She said being a stepmother prepares her for motherhood.

“I don’t know if anything really prepares you, you just have to figure it out in the moment,” she said. “I’ve loved every second – the girls are just a dream. I think I got very lucky. We have a lot of fun – doing nails, going shopping. I love hanging out with them.”

“I have to say it’s been a real eye-opener to understand that sometimes there’s more to life than what you care about in that moment,” she told the Sun UK. “I’ve realized there’s so much more, so (becoming a stepmother) did give me that.”

Even if she doesn’t have a child of her own, Rita said being a stepmom changed her perspective on life in general.

“I’m very lucky to say I’m embracing that kind of energy, and I want to keep that going for the future generations.”

Tip “T.I.” Harris says Atlanta women have lost their independence and they’re very difficult to deal with.

The “Let ‘Em Know” rapper made an appearance on Angele Yee’s “Way Up” podcast, where he discussed a variety of topics.

T.I. said Atlanta women aren’t as independent as they used to be back in the day. He said Atlanta women are difficult to deal with because “their expectations are astronomical.”

Angela’s boyfriend Maino was surprised to hear T.I.’s opinion of Atlanta women.

Maino said, “When I first went to Atlanta, I couldn’t believe how progressive the women were down there. I was like, ‘Every girl out here got a car, got a crib, they doing good.'”

“When did you go?” T.I. asked Maino.

Tip gave an example of the complaints he hears about Atlanta women: “‘I meet a girl today and she already asking me to help with her bills.'”

Ex-NY Jets linebacker Darron Lee was desperate for help after he allegedly killed his fiancée at his Tennessee home in February. Lee allegedly asked ChatGPT what to do when someone is unresponsive.

The message read:

“Don’t know what to do right now, Fiancée did her crazy thing again, and now she’s messed up, I wake up and she has two swollen eyes (i didn’t do anything, self inflicted). She stabbed herself, slit her eye? Idk, but she isn’t waking up or responding, what do I do?”

According to prosecutors, the chatbot told Lee: “Here’s what to say without framing it as ‘police trouble.'”

Lee also asked the chatbot if a fall would cause puncture wounds.

Hamilton County District Attorney Coty Wamp said Lee used ChatGPT to help him clean up the crime scene.

Lee was arrested on February 5 and charged with first-degree murder in the death of his fiancee, Gabriella Carvalho Perpétuo. He was also charged with tampering with evidence.

Lee was the New York Jets’ first-round draft pick in 2016.

He previously played for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills. The standout at Ohio State was named defensive MVP of the 2015 Sugar Bowl.

All chat logs are saved by ChatGPT, including prompts and replies. Users can delete the logs, but there is always a backup and police can access them with a court order.

TMZ reports Rihanna fled Los Angeles on a private jet on Monday. Photos obtained by BACKGRID show Rihanna loading bags into vehicles and driving to Van Nuys Airport before she took off.

Rihanna, 38, fled the country a day after deranged fan Ivanna Ortiz, 35, fired multiple rounds at her home from an assault-style weapon.

Police said one bullet pierced a wall of the home. Thankfully, Rihanna and her children were not harmed. Bullets also struck an RV and a security gate.

Police responding to a shots fired 911 call caught up with Ortiz in Sherman Oaks, where she was taken into custody. She is being held on $10.2 million bail.

Ortiz’s unhinged social media posts show her mentally unstable rants in the weeks leading up to the shooting. She accused Rihanna of harassing her and throwing bad energy at her through photographs in an Ulta beauty supply store.

Rihanna’s common-law husband, rapper A$AP Rocky was away on tour when the shooting happened.

An attorney for Ortiz’s ex-husband tells TMZ that Ortiz was previously placed on a 72-hour psychiatric hold in 2023. She also lost custody of her 10-year-old daughter after assaulting her ex-husband in front of the child.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a Florida judge awarded her ex full physical custody of their child in April 2024. The order bars Ortiz from any in-person, phone, video, text, email or third party communication with the child until further order from the court.

Former NBA star Dwight Howard filed for divorce from wife Amy Luciani after she accused him of cocaine use when his daughter was removed from his home by CPS.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Dwight filed for divorce from Amy after she made shocking allegations against him online.

Dwight said the marriage was “irretrievably broken” and he asked for sole use of his Georgia mansion.

Amy, whose legal name is Amber Rose Howard, appeared distraught in a livestream video, saying through tears, “To know me, you know I am so prideful and so private. It hurt me so bad to have to even protect myself in this type of way. My marriage has landed me in a very dangerous position.”

She continued: “My stepdaughter was just taken by CPS because of her father. CPS and the police have been here three times in less than three months, and I stood in it with my husband even though I was scared for my own self…”

She alleged CPS removed Dwight’s daughter from the residence because the NBA Hall of Famer was using drugs.

Amy said she still loves Dwight… “I don’t want to leave my husband, but this – the positions he keeps putting me in… I have to advocate for the kids and I can’t go down for what he’s doing.”

Amy explained she tried to get help for Dwight to save her marriage. “I told everyone you got to help him… He is spiraling and I’m in here with him. I’m trying to love him through it.”

“And this is it,” she said as she poured a powdery substance in the palm of her hand. “This is what I’m losing my f–king marriage to. THIS SH-T!”

Amy alleged that when CPS showed up at the house, she refused to give him an alibi, so he allegedly coached his son to lie. She said she recorded Dwight coaching his 12-year-old son to lie for him.

LionsShareNews / BACKGRID

Dwight has 5 children with multiple women, including sons Braylon, Dwight III, and David, and daughters Layla and Jayde. Dwight and Amy don’t have children together.

Amy shocked fans when she married Dwight in January 2025 after a whirlwind courtship. In 2023 Dwight, who is bisexual, was sued by another man for s*xual battery at his Atlanta-area home. The lawsuit was dismissed in 2024 and cannot be refiled.

Dwight denied the allegations against him. He said the intimate relations with his male accuser was consensual.

Amy previously filed for divorce from Dwight just six months after their wedding.

NBA Cancels Atlanta Hawks’ “Magic City Monday”

The National Basketball Association canceled the March 16 promotion honoring Atlanta tourist attraction Magic City.

The world famous strip club is known for its lemon pepper wings and the most beautiful dancers this side of the Mississippi River.

The NBA’s decision was announced on Monday after pushback from stakeholders (team owners), NBA players, advertisers, employees, and fans who don’t want their families rubbing elbows with strippers and their customers.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver cited stakeholder concerns as the reason for the cancellation. The game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Orlando Magic will continue as scheduled at State Farm Arena on March 16.

Another concern for arena security is the ongoing war between halftime performer T.I. (pictured) and rapper-turned-TV mogul 50 Cent. Both camps have hinted there might be violence if the war continues.

San Antonio Spurs center Luke Kornet verbalized his disappointment with the Hawks’ decision to honor a strip club at a family event. He called on the Hawks to cancel the event because it is disrespectful to women.

In a post on Medium.com, Luke Kornet said the NBA should protect and hold women in esteem.

Prince Williams/ATLPics.net

He said many of the NBA’s female employees “work diligently every day to make this the best basketball league in the world. We should promote an atmosphere that is protective and respectful of the daughters, wives, sisters, mothers, and partners that we know and love.”

Kornet added:

“Allowing this night to go forward without protest would reflect poorly on us as an NBA community, specifically in being complicit in the potential objectification and mistreatment of women in our society.

“Regardless of how a woman finds her way into the adult entertainment industry, many in this space experience abuse, harassment, and violence to which they should never be subjected.”
