Former WWE wrestler Tyler Reks, who was born Gabe Tufts, came out as a male-to-female trans this week, saying, "This is me. Unashamed, unabashedly me."

Tufts, who now goes by the name Gabbi Tufts, shared a photo on Instagram, along with the caption: "The ball dropped early today as this is now worldwide news. This is me. Unashamed, unabashedly me. This is the side of me that has hidden in the shadows, afraid and fearful of what the world would think; afraid of what my family, friends, and followers would say or do."

The reaction was mostly positive on Instagram. But some wrestling fans expressed shock at the once muscular wrestling star's new look.

"What the f*ck," wrote one stunned fan.

Another follower wrote: "You gained a new fan today. Be YOU. You are loved. We are here to lift you up. I’m so happy you are embracing your true self. I hope you continue to find peace now that this weight and darkness is lifted."

Tufts wrestled professionally from the late 2000s to the early 2010s. His signature move was known as the "Burning Hammer."

Cardi B fired warning shots at WWE founder Vince McMahon after a segment on WWE RAW teasing a WrestleMania appearance.

Cardi's name was dropped during a backstage segment on WWE RAW between Torrie Wilson, Angel Garza and Nikki Cross.

According to HotNewHipHop, the confused rapper wondered aloud why she was being tagged in WWE tweets.

"Wait what's going on. People keep tagging me in WWE stuff?"

A follower responded with a clip of the WWE RAW promo of the segment between Torrie, Angel and Nikki.

Torrie punked Garza by leading him into a green room, where he was expecting to meet the feisty rapper, but he was confronted by The Boogeyman instead.

After she watched the hijinks in the segment, Cardi, who grew up watching WWE, felt some king of way about how she was mentioned for the first time on WWE.

”WWWWTTTTFFFFFFFFF", tweeted the rapper. "This is not how my wwe debut was supposed to be! Vince McMahon COUNT YOUR F*CKIN DAYS!!!!"

Gaspard's distraught wife, Siliana Gaspard, watched the rescue effort from the shore. Mother and son remained on the beach for hours afterwards, refusing to leave as the search continued.

"We had one of our lifeguards go out to make a double rescue of a father and a son," Kenichi Haskett, of Los Angeles County Fire Dept Lifeguard Division, told exclusively.

"The father unfortunately got pushed down by a wave as they were getting pulled out of the current. The lifeguard rescued and grabbed the boy, the son, and tried to grab the father as well."

Haskett advised people to swim in knee-deep water in front of the open lifeguard tower so they can be seen if they are in distress.

"The mother and son have remained on the beach at the same location since yesterday," a local told "Neighbors have provided them with water and blankets and chairs."

"And one neighbor who lives right on the beach just steps away from the incident has opened his doors for them in case they need a bathroom or a place to rest," Venice local Patricia Powell told the Mail.

Many of us crucify ourselves between two thieves - regret for the past and fear of the future. Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable. Life is too short, time is too precious, and the stakes are too high to dwell on what might have been. Live now. Enjoy today. For tomorrow is not promised. . . . . . . . . . . . . . #Wwe #WorldWrestlingEntertainment #ROH #RingOfHonor #NJPW #NewJapanProWrestling #wcw #nwo #AEW #AllEliteWrestling #MLW #TagteamWrestling #Tagteam #wwe #wweraw #TagteamChampions #smackdown #smackdownlive #wweedge #DrewMcIntyre #johncena #Nwo #JohnMorrison #NewDay #StreetProfits #wwesmackdown #smackdownlive #ThrowbackThursday ??

Great chat with my old man. Felt good to my cold ? to hear him express his love. He’s a weathered soul and like all weathered souls, there’s often a harsh storied path that got them there. Well for my pops that path started at 13yrs old when his mom kicked him out of his house on Christmas day and forced him to live on the streets (very true and fucked up story) so his reality of compassion and love was forged thru pain and toughness. He raised me with that tough physical love and used to beat my ass in the gyms and on wrestling mats. I hated it then as a little boy, but grateful for it today as a man. It’s shaped my DNA and helped inform how I raise my own babies (minus the ass kickings;) but always instilling the value of hard work and discipline. For that I’m grateful and this one felt good. Crazy how full circle life can come. Enjoy your new house pop - what a storied path and thanks for the ass kickings ???? #weathered
