Former lovers Jennifer Lopez and Sean Combs face separate multi-million dollar lawsuits according to online reports. Jennifer Lopez was subpoenaed to appear in court to provide testimony in a $130 million lawsuit against Sean Combs and his former artist, Jamal "Shyne" Barrow. Shyne is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for a shooting that injured two people at the now defunct New York Club in December, 1999. Combs was acquitted of all charges in the shooting.

The civil lawsuit was filed by victim Natania Reuben, who was shot in the face. Combs gave a deposition in March, and now Lopez who was dating Combs at the time will give her side of the story. A judge will decide if Combs is liable for the damages caused by his former employee.

Meanwhile, Lopez was slapped with a $5 million lawsuit by a flight attendant who said J-Lo's dog Floyd "lunged" at her when she walked past him during a flight in 2006. According to TMZ.com, Lisa Wilson filed suit in a NY court yesterday (6/26) claiming she fell over and injured her back during the attack.

The $5 mill is to cover her mounting medical expenses following surgery due to "debilitating" back pain.

If Wesley Snipes gets his way he'll be leaving the country for good rather than face federal time. According to WENN, the troubled actor begged a judge to return his passport so he can shoot two films outside the country.

Snipes, 45, was found guilty of tax evasion and sentenced to 3 years in prison in April. He's currently free on appeal and is seeking the court's permission to shoot two films in Britain and Thailand.

In court documents, Snipes' attorney assures the judge his client won't flee. "Were he to abscond under these circumstances, it would destroy his ability to earn a living for the rest of his life," said attorney Daniel Meachum.

Meachum adds, "Mr.Snipes will, of course, voluntarily return after his work on this film - as he has done each time he has been granted permission by this court." Maybe his attorney forgot that time in 2006 when Snipes failed to return from Nambia?

When Jay z performs at the Glastonbury festival in England this weekend, he will have a lot more on his mind than The Today Show mistaking him for Joe Budden. Jay's appearance in the Glastonbury festival lineup has drawn heavy criticism from locals and artists alike.

According to festival organizers, this year's festival has not sold out for the first time in its history. Noel Gallagher — guitarist and chief songwriter for Oasis - thinks the reason is clear: Jay Z.

"If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it," Gallagher complained back in April. "If you start to break it, then people aren’t going to go. I’m sorry, but Jay-Z? No chance."

Jay Z responded in an interview with U.K. radio host Tim Westwood on Wednesday, saying, "At the end of the day, these barriers that they have are only put up to separate us. There is only good music and bad music."

"The world should be all about mixing culture," Jay-Z said. "Hip-hop is music in its art form. It should be accepted and respected. It’s all the same thing, it’s just coming from a different perspective."

But critics insist rap fans would not approve of rock bands appearing at Hip Hop festivals.

During the night, I received a phone call from a friend asking me what I did to sohh.com. Wiping the sleep out of my eyes, I picked up my Sidekick and browsed to sohh.com. The first thing I saw was the headline "Jews did 9/11".

sohh.com was hacked sometime during the night, maybe by a disgruntled employee or a contractor who wasn't paid? Obviously this was a personal attack considering the fact that the email below, allegedly from site owner Felicia Palmer's "cheating boyfriend" was posted right in the center of the site. The text reads, "Have fun with your cheating n*gger of a boyfriend." Does Felicia's husband know she has a boyfriend?

The plastic surgeon who operated on Kanye West's mother was busted early today for driving under the influence according to California Highway patrol.

Jan Adams, 54, was stopped by California Highway Patrol officers at about 2:40 a.m. after motorists saw him driving a 2004 Jaguar XJ8 southbound in the northbound lanes of Interstate 680 near Gold Hill Road in the Benicia area, said CHP Officer Craig Kuehl.

CHP officers smelled alcohol on Adams' breath and arrested him for suspicion of drunk driving and driving with a suspended license. Adams' driver's license was suspended after a previous drunk driving conviction.

In November, Adams operated on West's mother, Donda West, 58, performing liposuction and breast implant surgery. He sent West home without adequate aftercare and she died a day later of respiratory and cardiac arrest.

The Los Angeles coroner concluded that West had heart disease and clogged coronary arteries which contributed to her death. The surgeon's license to practice medicine expired Wednesday because he allegedly failed to pay child support, according to records with the California Medical Board.

Adams came to prominence when Oprah Winfrey featured him on her nationally syndicated talk show. (Source)

A man criticizes comedian Niecy Nash for joking about Angelina Jolie and Madonna going to Africa to adopt black kids.

He also takes a shot at BET for the overall ghetto atmosphere of the show. Well, he does have a point about the racist jokes and the horrible performances. We need to do better.

"These babies have done wonders for my credit score. To all the rappers and singers and ballers and shot callers: instead of making it rain, make a difference and get yourself some white kids." - Niecy Nash on Bet Awards
