After peeping that homo-rific shot of NBA stars Dwyane Wade and Shawn Marion together, Alonzo Mourning didn’t want a repeat. I’m just kidding. Alonzo invited his teammates to his King Pin Classic at Lucky Strike Lanes in Miami yesterday.

Actress Phylicia Rashad appeared at a press conference announcing her gig as the newest Jenny Craig spokesperson at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel yesterday (1/22). I wish I could say she’s a nice person, but I had the unfortunate experience of meeting her at a Morehouse graduation ceremony and she had a stank attitude all day long. She refused to take pictures unless she was begged to. Why would you come to a college graduation with an attitude? Her sister Debbie Allen was there and graciously took photos. So did Spike Lee, who once sent my mother a check for $500 for her church. All my mom did was write him a letter and ask him for a donation.

This pic is a little old but I wanted to post it because I haven’t seen a picture of Mick Jagger’s biracial daughter Karis Hunt Jagger since she was little. Karis is the oldest of Jagger’s 7 children.

Maybe Mrs. Rashad was just having a bad day. I know being a celebrity is considered a full time job, but even those jobs have “off” time. If she was there in her capacity as an actress, then maybe, but perhaps she was there for personal reasons and just didn’t feel like being bothered. Either way, I’ve never heard of her having diva antics, so I’ll let this slide as her just having an off day.

Hello All. Sandra, you say your mother wired Spike Lee and he sent her church $500? Boy, would I love to get in contact with Spike. Not for money but to help me with a documentary on the Martinsville Seven, the largest mass execution for rape in U.S. history. In 1951, seven black men from Martinsville, VA, my home town, were tried, convicted and sentenced to death in 7 days (2 were tried at the same time) for the rape of one married, white woman. Five of them were mere teenagers. Before the youngest one died he said: God knows I didn’t touch that woman and I’ll see you all on the other side. This little known story has never been told and I need someone to help me tell it. By the way, three of these young men were Hairstons, distant relatives. Peace.

I can’t wait to see Phylicia take off some of those pounds. Her and Debbie could have done it together as they have both gotten thick over the years. I think thick is a good thing, but the older you get the more it ages you and these ladies are still so vibrant I’d like to see them look as young as I get the impression they feel. And who knows how many autographs she had already signed? She might have authritis (sp?) for all we know.

I wonder if D Wade really gave his wife an STD there are three sides to every story and I would love to hear his. I like to try and give ppl the benefit of the doubt before I throw them under the bus..lol d Wade or avg joe its beyond trifling for married men to give their wife any kind of STD.
