As Michelle Malkin would say, this is raaaaaacist! Illinois jr. Senator Roland Burris was turned away by the racist Senate today in Washington D.C. Burris is just as qualified as any other Senator.

I guess if you’re not bought and paid for like Barack Hussein Obama, you’re not getting in.

THEY TOLD HIM BEFORE HE GOT ON THE PLANE THEY WASNT GOING TO RECOGNIZE HIM. HES 71 AND HAS NOTHING ELSE TO DO WITH HIS TIME. HE WILL FIGHT THIS TO TH SUPREME COURT. i will be gald when this circus act is over…if burris were white, he would’ve been turned away as well…burris is a dummy for letting the soon-to-be-ex governor use him (please impeach this nicca)…that seat was offered to others, however they had enough common sense not to accept it…i guess burris would rather be remembered for being involved w/ this fu(kery, than his other accomplishments

how did obama pay for his seat when he was elected by the people?! please enlighten me…

I HATE the news!! But did ya’ll hear about that four year old boy in Ohio that shot his 18 year baby sitter for ACCIDENTALLY stepping on his foot? He even told the 18 year old that he was gonna shot him for doing it, but of course he didn’t believe him… He just shot him in the arm though, but still! The four year old is not being charged, but his parents will be! S*it, you can’t even trust four year olds anymore.. Everybody’s a suspect!! LOL, that ish ain’t funny though!!

yes I am in Ohio and it is all over the news. The police are actually doing an investigation. I wonder what kind of charges can be brought against a 4 yr old?

Roland Burris has always dreamed of a higher political position and he let the Gov. use him in order to get there.

He was his 2nd or 3rd BLACK choice to fill the seat. The other 2 people he asked to take the seat declined the position because of the heat it would bring. So good ole Rod went to the person he knew would accept it no matter what hot water came along with the appointment. Then Bobby Rush comes and embarrasses us (blacks) all by talking about this being a race issue.

This was NEVER a race issue, The Gov, Bobby Rush, the nosey black ministers in Illinois, and the appointee made this a race issue. I’m siding with the Senate on this issue. Blago shouldn’t be able to pick ANYONE to fill the seat vacated by the POTUS.

I was floored when I heard it on Warren Ballentine (Is that how you spell his last name?LOL) Shunda, do they have more details? Do you think he should be taken away from his parents? He is the future, he is going to get away with this…so of course he will try it again when he gets older! That’s what kids do!!

Police said an angry 4-year-old Ohio boy grabbed a gun from a closet and shot his baby sitter.

Eighteen-year-old Nathan Beavers was hospitalized Sunday with minor wounds to his arm and side after the shotgun attack. Police say another teen was also injured.

Witnesses told police the child was angry because Beavers accidentally stepped on his foot. Beavers was watching the child at a mobile home in Jackson with several other teenagers and several other children.

Jackson County Sheriff John Shashteen said authorities are investigating. The child has not been charged.

This is a man who has dedicated his life to being the polar opposite of all of the mendacity and mediocrity that is constantly represented by the politicians that we elect to serve our society…

Yet, I NEVER see anything on this blog regarding Republicans…and their stankonia policies that have damn near destroyed a country for generations to come…

The Senate should have ran Burris’ a$$ out on a rail…the fact that this “life long politician” sold himself out so cheap to a corrupt governor is a blight on a political record that was relatively unscathed…

This Black woman and life long Chicago resident…who until recently thought of Burris as someone who had jobs as a public servant and at the VERY least (and I do mean LEAST)…did nothing OVERT to embarass the hell out of the thousands of Black folks who actively worked to get him elected year after year…and yes Auntie…it was BLACK FOLKS who put Burris on the public payroll in Illinois…(which, in hindsight…was unfortunate)

Now I look at Burris as another ni–a who allowed himself to get played by the “man”…

Don’t waste your time and energy talking to Sandra. I’m usually just a lurker with an occasional comment…but the more I read her posts, I really feel sorry for her – so bitter and negative all the time. Opinion is one thing but she takes it to such a negative point of view that she would make an excellent show host on Fox News (a la Sean Hannity).

First and foremost, it is a shame that there arent’ any african americcans in the senate. However, this Burris guy, chose to sleep in this bed. Blago knew EXACTLY what he was doing when he chose Burris. Burris, accepted, thus allowing himself to be used. Thats where he messed up. How could he not see that Blago was only using him. My understanding is that he’s ran for governor and lost. If he’s so qualified, whats wrong with having the people of Illinois decided. OH yea….they didn’t believe he was fit to be there governor so why would they choose him to be their senator. Burris played himself with this
