More garbage off Ciara's upcoming "Fantasy Land" album. This one is produced by Danja and features Chris Brown, who I hear has dumped his longtime girlfriend Rihanna because he deems her "damaged goods." Ouch!
Oh, and this club/pop/disco mess hurt my ears. You have been warned.
A few loyal readers tipped me to this audio on Illseed's blog on Allhiphop.com. The layout of that page is so wonky I had to scroll up and down it 3 times before I found the audio tucked up under a Bow Wow video that nobody cares about.
This should have been the first story on the page. But hey, my blog is just as bad so who am I to complain, right?
Now what were we discussing? Oh yeah, soul singer and legend Etta James, who is very much a lady, says she can't stand Beyonce and she wants to whup Beyonce's ass -- and it's all on tape!
Etta also earned major points with me when she said about Barack Obama, "He ain't MY president!"
Last night I received an email from a loyal reader who thought Michelle Obama displayed bad posture as she sat reading to children in a D.C. classroom yesterday.
After viewing the pics myself I came to the conclusion that there's nothing wrong with the way the First Lady was sitting. Heck, I sit like that all the time with my shoulders hunched over, my forearms resting on my knees and my legs spread wide.
Maybe she feels more comfortable sitting that way. I also noted that Barack Obama sits the same way.
Sure, you wouldn't see Laura Bush or even Hillary Clinton sitting hunched over with her legs spread open, but so what?
There are people who think a First Lady should sit with her back straight, her knees (and legs) together and her hands clasped politely in her lap -- but I'm not one of them.
I think it's rather cool to have a First Lady who throws decorum and pomposity out the window in lieu of being her natural 'round-the-way self.
Arrogant music mogul Sean Combs "flipped out" and accused cops of disrespecting him when they asked to search him and his entourage/security before entering a NYC club where he was to co-host a birthday bash for basketball star Kobe Bryant last night.
The nerve of him to think he's above the law. Wasn't Sean on trial for murder not too long ago?
When Diddy arrived at 1:45 a.m. with a six-man entourage, a witness said he “flipped out” when cops asked to search him and his friends. “He went nuts, saying, ‘Why are you disrespecting me like this? Why are you doing this to me?’ During the commotion, one of his guys slipped away, unsearched, back to the car.”
Combs “stormed off and started to text DJ Clue asking, ‘What the [bleep] is going on?’ and asked if he could go in the back entrance.” When told that the cops would have to search him and his friends there as well, Combs decided not to attend the party. His rep had no comment. [LINK]
I applaud the cops for doing their job of protecting the party goers from thugs like Sean and his entourage. Why is it okay to search guests but not him and his people?
When you hear about shootings at parties, do you wonder how the gun got inside? It's usually always brought in by celebs and their people who don't get searched like everyone else.
Other celebs attending the party, who I'm sure didn't mind being searched, included Keri Hilson (who was looking rather hawt), Pepa of Salt-N-Pepa, rapper Fabolous, Lamar Odom, Dawn Richard, in addition to Kobe and DJ Clue.
Jessica Simpson realized her career was going nowhere so she gets breast implants and wisely gains a little weight so as not to look ridiculously top heavy. Apparently the implants are paying for themselves because she's got everyone's attention.
Even POTUS Barack Obama had something to say about her after US magazine replaced a cover of him with a cover of her.
NBC's Matt Lauer held up the cover during a pre-Super Bowl interview and asked Obama to discuss his feelings about losing the cover to Jessica, Obama said "Yeah, it's a little hurtful." This despite the fact that he's been on 500 covers in the past 6 months!
As Lauer started to say something else about Jessica, Obama cut him off and quipped, "Who's in a weight battle, apparently,"
Weight battle? Are my eyes deceiving me? I don't see a woman who is losing a weight battle. She still looks skinny to me except for the huge breast implants.
Here's video from Barack Obama's interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper yesterday. Obama tries hard to convince Americans that he made a mistake by nominating Sen. Tom Daschle for secretary of health and human services despite knowing all about Daschle's tax cheating.
“I don’t want to send a message to the American people that there are two sets of standards, one for powerful people and one for ordinary folks who are working every day and paying their taxes.”
One day before though, the headlines blared, "Obama 'absolutely' stands by Daschle at HHS." It's disheartening to know that Obama didn't think there was a mistake made until the NY Times turned on him yesterday.
If Obama really wants to send a message to the American people he should show Sen. Geithner the door. Isn't he a tax cheat too?
Sadly, Obama has a history of bad judgment when it comes to choosing the people around him. Nothing is going to Change.
The cops who raided a bar thought they ripped all the video cameras out -- but they missed one. And that camera caught them counting and pocketing the cash from the bar's safe.
Maybe they listened to too much M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes"?
"All I wanna do is... count up.... and take your mo-nay"
But you know the cops won't be charged. The police department will probably say the cops followed department procedures by pocketing the cash while leaving video evidence of their bumbling criminal act.
