i know Tracey is beautiful and all but i’m not feeling the midriff-baring top and the white bra. i mean, really, couldn’t she have put on a longer top and a black bra or tank top underneath?? it just seems unnecessary to me…just my 2 cents
anyhoo, all the babies are beautiful. and i love that Chris’ girls are wearing ‘little girl’ coats and not those skanky-looking Baby Phat and Dereon jackets i see a lot of little girls wearing.

@ OTB…the peacoat sounds really cool and age-appropriate. you knew exactly the coats i was referring to…lol those ones with the big gold cat on the back and let’s not even get started on the Dereon jackets. ugghhhhhhh! i just remember a time when little girls looked like little girls – ponytails and braids (with their REAL hair, not weave), little girls clothes (not grown women clothes made in little girl sizes)…
oh, those were the good ol’ days!!

I see ppl wearing those shape ups all the time when I’m out and about here in Florida. Does anybody who owns a pair feel like they really work and make a difference in your shape?? I’m trying to get in shape now and if there is anything extra I can do to help my weight loss along, I am so willing to do it. Thanks!!!!

NOOOOOOO! I wear them all the time, even at work. I haven’t felt any tightening up but I’ve only had them for about a month. I thought you wear them out and about like ordinary sneakers. They even have the shoes now but that’s going too far.
Are you sure the one Chris is holding is one of his daughters? It doesn’t look like it and she looks awfully young unless they had a 3rd daughter I’ve never seen.
@Speakingmymind, I prefer to see kids in kiddy clothes too. It’s funny how people will dress their daughters all grown when they are small, then once they’re teens they want them to dress like little girls.

two of us who work out wear them pretty often (just walkign around). we think if you’re used to working out your legs already, you probably aren’t going to feel anything appreciable. i’m trying them as a workout shoe now but i still don’t feel anything. i think if you’re not used to working out your legs, you might feel something.
@fla… I dont feel anything, per se, but my measurements definitely changed. I’m one of those overweight according to the BMI chart chicks so I tend to go by measurements instead of the scale and whatnot. My hip #s have changed, so I would say it works.
Also, you’ll fool yourself into doing more. I know I have the shoes on so I walk the extra steps…just in case LOL
I wanted a pair of the shape ups, but hubby shot down the idea, I may sneak and get them…
I also thought that was not Chris Rock’s (the one he is holding) daughter, I thought his girls were like 5 and 7 or in that range…..

Thanks Free & OTB. I’m overweight based on my BMI as well but I’m mixed and I have hips and butt that ppl seem to think I should be happy with lol. Still trying to slim it down tho. I’m not used to working out so maybe the shoes will help me be more active

@Fla I know your pain. Everytime I do a BMI check it tells me I must be mistaken and to re-measure myself LOL It tickles me.
And I’m lazy. Honey, I invented lazy. I had 5 babies and still am lazy LOL I can only workout in 15 min increments otherwise I remember that…I’m working out LOL
Try the Leslie Sansone vids. Easy peasy, no thought to it. She works outs in miles (walking at home, etc), and each mile only takes 15mins or less. I walk 1.5 when I wake and 1.5 before dinner. By weeks end, Ive walked 15+ miles.
i always liked seeing chris’ older daughter. they always have those little puffs in her hair and i always think of a little mini mouse!
