NY Model Pays $46,000 for Hair
You think you pay high prices for a few packages of yaki? One NY model takes her hair quest for the perfect hair to the extreme:
Brandi Irwin, 28, a foot model and photographer, spends tens of thousands on her hair. Indeed, she may just have the most expensive hair in New York City.
She gets her more than $46,000 locks from stylist Kristina Barricelli and her team at Gemini 14 salon in Manhattan.
Brandi’s custom hairdo involves 250,000 strands of hair extensions imported from India and colored in Italy.
The extensions are put in strand-by-strand and the process takes nine hours.”
“You work hard, you play hard,” Brandi says. “My hair is my biggest accessory.”
She says she “can’t put a price” on how it makes her feel.
Barricelli says the treatment lasts a few months, which is why the cost adds up.

It’s no secret that infused hair (the process, not the hair) costs a grip. They tend to charge more for their hair services so I believe it.
She paid $46k for weave that look like it came on tracks for bout $25 a pack…..I could’ve did that 4 her & it would’ve looked better

People are always ripping off rich folks because they stupidly pay high prices for things that look a mess. I’ve browsed through the expensive stores in NYC out of curiosity and saw some of the ugliest dresses, shoes, purses for thousands of dollars. Look at the red carpet events, some of the ugliest outfits cost the most money. Besides I’m hoping this is a before picture and the $46,000 hair is the after (which is not seen in this photo).
