Loyal reader Cherry wrote in because she strongly objects to the outfit that Rev. Run’s daughter Angela Simmons is wearing in the above picture.
Maybe it’s my eyes, but I don’t see anything wrong with Angela Simmons’ form-fitting attire. Everything seems to be covered up. Nothing is flapping loosely in the wind. So what’s the problem?

Hey Sandra, I found this pic on another site so you may not be able to use it, but I still wanted to share my opinion…I was very disappointed when I saw this picture. Maybe it’s b/c I have babysat little girls for years, or I know how imperishable minds can easily be changed to think something is cute or cool. When did Angela Simmons start dressing so slutty? Her sister still looks classy yet shows her sex appeal. I just think it’s a shame that this is how some women feel they have to display themselves in order to get attention or feel pretty or whatever. Buy screw them, think about the girls who look up to them. Wasn’t/Isn’t she a spokes person for The Girls Scouts? I just am glad my self-esteem never depended on how someone else portrayed themselves, but there are many out there who’s does, and people really should remember that. That is all.

Fundamentally, I’m against leggings (even as part of catsuits) as pants.
Umm the outfit is ugly imo but its not slutty or disturbing in the least. Even with its tightness she is still more covered than most of the stars out of all races. Those girl scouts have seen worse. Plus the outfit was very appropriate for the venue

Huh? She wore that to fashion week not Vacation Bible School. She gets a pass. People are known for wearing outlandish outfits to Fashion Week events. No that outfit is not for everybody but she’s an adult, I’m not ready to boycott girl scout cookies just yet.

Angela look great! and just right for “fashion week” which is what its all about being able to have fun in creative gear. It’s just a fricken’ catsuit, remember when everybody were wearing them back in the mid 90′s.

She does not look like a slut to me. My daughters have booties, and you don’t intentionally flaunt what your mama gave you. I see nothing wrong w/ the way they are dressed. I do love their shoes.

People like this woman really need to stop looking to these celebrities to steer their kids. Having somebody else self esteem depend on how you are living your life is too much responsibility for anybody to carry. Be your kids role model. I was never taught to idolize and worship celebrities. This is ridiculous. I had my mother and big sister to look up to.
I have never been a fan of catsuits they scream coustume to me but I dont think she looks slutty either

She’s definitely working it but catsuits just aren’t fashionable or sophisticated in my opinion. It doesnt look slutty on her but catsuits have been traditionally classified AS “Slutty” when worn that tight. And the cutout just makes it worse.
Its just a miss in my book…something she doesnt do often But still.
Vanessa’s fit is mad fly to me!!
1. She’s at a fashion show. Better yet she’s at Ney York fashion week. The idea of Fashion Week is to play around, have fun, push the limits and show your personal style.
2. She’s young AND has the body for it! I’d be much more offended if Gabby Sidibe was wearing it. No offense to you Sidibe lover’s but Precious is big as he!!. I’m just sayin….
3. She “classed it up” a bit with the jacket. She’s not Amber Rosing it.
4. This actually should have fit in with # 2 but being young and in shape she should be wearing stuff like this now seeing as how she has no babies to mess that body up and gravity hasn’t set in to where things are bagging, sagging and dragging.
5. And I could go on….have a seat Disapointed in Richmond. Angela looks great!

Angela is a full grown woman. I don’t have a problem with this outfit at all.

I see nothing wrong with her outfit. The last time I checked she is a grown and can wear whatever she wants. While I think the outfit is ugly, I wouldn’t call it slutty. I think the person who wrote this never really seen a slutty outfit before. Nowadays everyone is wearing leggings even when they aren’t that flattering on them. I saw a lady in the DMV this past Saturday with a short black t-shirt that stopped right at her waist and a pair of liquid black leggins. Everything was hanging out and while I am no size 8 or 10, she had to be at least 300pounds. So why she wore such a short shirt with those leggings is beyond me.
