Police bust fake beautician who administered butt shots without a license

Butt shots and breast augmentations are all the rage in the black community now that the prices are so affordable and anyone with a kitchen table can administer the silicone and hydrogel injections.

Music videos shot on dime budgets and strip clubs that cater to so-called “ballers” with unlimited drug profits that can’t be deposited into any bank, has created a high demand for black, Latina and white women with unnaturally enhanced curves.

The demand for butt shots is so great (and so profitable at $300-$3,000 a pop) that more and more black-market clinicians are setting up shop in their kitchens to administer the shots.

But according to the Feds, the administration of silicone and hydrogel injections by unlicensed personnel is still illegal outside of a clinical setting.

And unfortunately, women who desire to quickly pump up their assets are dying from nasty infections at an alarming rate as a result of the illegal procedures performed in unsterile environments. That’s why law enforcement has started cracking down on the illegal activity.

Expect to see more arrests as police in every state begin to crack down on illegal butt shot parlors and their customers.

From Splash News:

A Bronx beautician with zero medical training turned her Mt. Eden apartment into a silicone back alley, risking clients’ lives with black-market boob and butt jobs at $1,000 a pop, the FBI charged yesterday. Whalesca Castillo, 36, made clients lie on a massage table for dangerous injections of liquid silicone that she had shipped in from the Dominican Republic, according to a criminal complaint filed in Manhattan federal court. Then she’d seal up the wounds with Krazy Glue. Released on $100,000 bond yesterday, Castillo, who’s eight months pregnant, faces up to three years in prison on charges she distributed the silicone, officials said.

Celebrity Seed: Eddie Murphy and Nicole Murphy

Shayne Murphy – Eddie Murphy’s 16 year old daughter with Nicole, strikes a pose outside of Beverly Hills Nail Design after having a Manicure/Pedicure over the weekend. Isn’t she a beauty? Look out for this one!

Yesterday, Shayne accompanied her gorgeous mom, Nicole Murphy, 33, to the nail shop along with her little sisters, Zola, 11, and Bella Zahra, who will celebrate her 9th birthday on Jan. 29.

Singer Johnny Gill, 44, stopped by the nail shop to get his nails did. And before you start reaching for your keyboards: all men who take pride in their appearance get their nails cut and buffed to a nice shine. There’s nothing ghey about that.

In case you’ve forgotten what Eddie’s brood used to look like. That’s Bria and Shayne on the right of mommy back in 2004.

Celebrity Seed: LisaRaye (Kai Morae)

LisaRaye’s beautiful daughter, Kai Morae, 23, is Apple Bottom’s first plus-size model. As I reported earlier, the photos were shot by celebrity photographer Derek Blanks.

The shoot was done in Los Angeles and will be featured in an upcoming episode of ‘LisaRaye The Real McCoy’ on TVONE.

The images feature fashions from Nelly’s Apple Bottom’s Spring 2011 Collection. Apple Bottoms started out in 2003 as a denim label designed specifically to fit the natural curves of African American women.

Now the company has branched into a full lifestyle brand featuring Apparel, Footwear, Swimwear, Jewelry, Designer Eyewear, Fragrance and Home Goods.

What do you think of Kai’s photos? (Click images to enlarge) I hear that Kai is upset that they Photoshopped her photos to make her look older and to render her subtle curves even larger than they really are in real life.

PICS: Lil Twist B-Day Bash at Dream Nightclub, Miami Beach

Young Money rapper Lil Twist celebrated his 18th birthday on Saturday night (Jan. 15) at Dream Nightclub on S. Beach with his boss, Lil Wayne, actor Terrence J, Rocsi (106 & Park), his manager, Cortez Bryant, and record label exec Michael Kyser (Atlantic Records).

Lil Wayne let the entire club know what Lil Twist wanted for his birthday… “New Pussy,” and he let all the girls know he would help Lil Twist get his wish (ewww). The bash was hosted by BET 106 & Park co-host Terrence J, who is definitely feeling himself since making his star turn in BET’s sports-themed sitcom, The Game.

Celebrity Seed: Kelis

Singer Kelis, 31, and her nanny (who looks like she’s with child herself) were spotted taking her son Knight Jones, 1, along for a stroll over the weekend in the Larchmont Village section of Los Angeles. The “Milkshake” singer hasn’t had a hit since “Bossy” in 2007.

Still, her ongoing legal issues with her baby daddy, rapper Nas, 37, keeps her relevant and in front of us — at least for the time being.

Meanwhile, her ex-housekeeper, an undocumented worker, has taken her dispute with Kelis to the tabloid press. According to TMZ.com, the maid, who earned a respectable $150 a day cleaning up Kelis’ mess, wants Kelis to pay her the $900 she owes her.

According to sources, the housekeeper is currently exploring her legal options — trying to lock down a lawyer to see if she can file anything with the California Labor Commission.

The only problem is the maid is an illegal alien. So she may not have a legal leg to stand on. At any rate, Kelis doesn’t look like she’s worried a bit.  Photos by: Brooks/INF PHOTO

Who Knew Kevin Hart’s Ex-Wife Was a Comedian Too?

Vertically challenged comedian Kevin Hart, 31, recently filed for divorce from his wife, Torrei, who is also a stand-up comedian.

Torrei, who described herself as an “angry black woman” went in on her ex during her stand-up comedy routine. “I want some new penis!” she joked. There is no doubt Hart will strike back. But I’m sure Torrei has the better material, because, I mean, look at Kevin and his jump off. The jokes write themselves.

While the Harts trade insults in public, the people this will hurt the most are their children, daughter Heaven Lee, 5, and son Hendrix, 3.

Keyshia Cole and Manager Manny Halley Part Ways

Three weeks after admitting that releasing a single with rapper Nicki Minaj was the wrong move, singer Keyshia Cole officially dumped her manager, Manny Halley. Cole made the announcement yesterday via her Twitter.com account.

But Sandrarose.com readers already knew this was coming.

Manny Halley’s decision to release “I Ain’t Thru” as the first single off Keyshia’s new CD Calling All Hearts, caused a rift between Keyshia’s management and her label, Interscope Records.

In a recent interview with the AP, Cole admitted that she bore part of the blame for releasing the disastrous single with Minaj.

The label didn’t really want to drop the record because they knew that people wanted a more intense, soulful record from me about love and I really should have followed (their) direction. But I wanted that to be a statement record. It’s like saying, ‘I’m doing me, you know. I don’t have no regrets for nothing that I’m doing’

As I noted in an earlier post, Cole failed to mention the power struggle between Halley and Interscope records that spilled from the boardroom into the streets, and reached the ear of a certain notorious blogger.

Once label execs began openly expressing their disdain for Halley, word spread around the industry like wildfire that Cole had dumped Halley as her manager and hired a woman to manage her affairs.

In an effort to contain the rumors before she could release an official statement, Cole and her publicist, Tresa Sanders, reached out to Sandrarose.com on December 16, 2010. Although the content of that call can not be made public, I will tell you that Keyshia sounded very concerned about the information that had already leaked out of Interscope Records.

One Interscope record label exec told me the album sounded like it was “rushed in the studio.” The exec, who asked to remain anonymous, indicated that the higher ups at the label weren’t happy with the end product and they voted to shelve the album indefinitely. But, he said, Keyshia’s management (Halley) insisted that the album be released.

“There’s no way to predict how people will respond to things,” said Ron Fair, chairman of Geffen (Interscope) Records. “It’s something that Keyshia really wanted to say.”

Calling All Hearts is in stores now.
