What Were Ludacris and Justin Bieber Doing at The Country Music Awards?
While Hip Hop has been slowly dying over the last decade, smart rappers like Ludacris were busy successfully crossing over to pop music. Ludacris’s status as a successful crossover artist was evidenced by his appearance on the most staid award show, The CMT Country Music Awards. The Hip Hop heads may think Luda has sold them out, but this is about survival in a depressed economy. Luda has kids to feed.
Ludacris joined Jason Aldean onstage for a rap/country fusion of “Dirt Road Anthem” to close out the CMT Awards last night in Nashville, TN. After the show, Luda rubbed elbows with Justin Bieber (who picked up an award), Gary Busey (“Celebrity Apprentice”), actor John Hamlin and rapper Kid Rock, among others.

Celebrity blogger @Freshalina, owner of Crunktastical.net blog, said this about fading rapper Soulja Boy’s attack on bloggers and his sad attempts to comeback from hip hop’s graveyard of obscurity:
Still unwilling to take the hint his last album’s sales figures tried to send him, Soulja Boy has released a new video for the song, “Conceited.”
Sounding like a Kappa with Down syndrome, Diamond’s new sponsor boasts, “I look so good, I look so pretty. I’m conceited.” If that hook wasn’t cliché-ridden enough for you, Soulja Boy proceeds to snatch T-Pain’s now discarded vocoder to rinse and repeat his narcissistic lines.
As for that fuck bloggers line and threats of getting robbed, Sheree Whitfield trying to school somebody on the repo man sounds more believable.
Perhaps DeAndre is feeling himself ‘cause he knows Remy Ma’s last parole hearing was unsuccessful so she can’t pistol whip him for jocking her swag.
Lupe Fiasco Exercises His Right to Free Speech; Calls Obama ‘Biggest Terrorist’
Grammy-winning rapper Lupe Fiasco won’t be invited to the Democratic National Convention next year after calling U.S. President Barack Obama America’s biggest terrorist.
But this is America, and Lupe’s rights to free speech are protected under the Constitution, including calling the president of the United States a terrorist.
“To me, the biggest terrorist is Obama, in the United States of America,” said the Chicago rapper in an interview with MTV recently (watch video after the break).
He added:
“So, for me, it’s like I’m trying to fight the terrorism [Obama] that’s actually causing the other forms of terrorism. The root causes of the terrorism is the stuff that the U.S. government allows to happen… And the foreign policies that we have in place in different countries that inspire people to become terrorists.”

Soulja Boy Threatens Blogger
I didn’t even realize fading rapper Soulja Boy was still around until I received an email today from a loyal reader directing me to Worldstarhiphop.com, where, amid the clutter of videos featuring loose women and wannabe rappers — was Soulja Boy’s video for his new song, “Conceited”.
Normally, I would scroll right past any video with Soulja Boy in it, but I was told that he mentioned my name in one of his lyrics. I would be lying if I didn’t feel a sense of pride in knowing that a washed up rapper like Soulja Boy would take the time to pay homage to me in prose.
That is, until I listened to his words:

F*ck all dem blogs, b*tch I’m on my job
You keep talking down, I bet you get yo azz robbed…
That last line, containing that not-so-veiled terroristic threat, prompted me to call my attorney, who advised me to call the Chamblee police and make out a police report ASAP.
I have nothing else to say about this little cockroach who’s about to get stomped out legally.

Pink Takes Baby Willow for a Stroll in the Blazing Heat
I certainly hope that Pink and her rocker husband are good parents. It’s kind of hard to tell from these pictures.
According to London tabloid The Daily Mail, Pink, 31, and her husband Carey Hart took baby Willow Sage Hart out for a stroll in Malibu Beach today — 5 days after she gave birth to her.
Pink and Carey are dressed appropriately for the heat. But why is the newborn bundled up in a blanket in the hot sun? Don’t they know that babies have small surface areas and therefore they can’t regulate their body temperatures?
Pink underwent a C-section and she still looks like she’s 8 months pregnant. But the swelling will go down soon and Pink can get back to swinging from poles and thrilling audiences during her concerts. She’s a great entertainer!

Morning Wood: Rep. Weiner’s Uncensored Weiner exposed on Twitter
Embattled New York Congressman Anthony Weiner will be cleaning out his Washington office any day now.
An uncensored photo of Mr. Weiner’s uncensored weiner made its way to Twitter.com today. Biggovernment.com‘s owner Andrew Breitbart, who broke the original Weinergate scandal, showed the image of Weiner’s genitals on his phone to a radio show host who then took a picture and uploaded it to Twitter.
This new humiliating news comes just a couple of days after he tearfully confessed to exchanging sexually graphic photos of himself with SIX young women online.
Weiner’s wife of 11 months, Huma Abedin, flew off to Libya last night with her boss, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. So thankfully, she was spared the humiliation.
