Update: Tiger Woods not making announcement on Monday

According to Yahoo Sport, the golf world is buzzing about a special announcement that Tiger Woods is set to make at 11 a.m. today.
Speculation and rumors abound that Woods, 35, who hasn’t won a tournament in 2 years, will call it quits and retire for good from the sport that made him a billionaire.
Woods’ storied career ended in spectacular fashion in November 2009 when he crashed his SUV into a tree outside his home a day after a tabloid published a story that he was having an affair.
In the following weeks, more loose women tumbled out of Woods’ golf bag, and Woods checked himself into a sex rehab. Woods’ corporate sponsors began a mass exodus for the door, and his long suffering wife, Elin, filed for divorced and left with the couple’s children, Sam Alexis, 4, and Charlie Axel, 2.
The fact that a narcissist like Woods is even calling a press conference, rather than issuing a press release, gives some indication that his announcement will be huge.
Or maybe Tiger is set to end the speculation about his ethnicity once and for all by admitting that he’s black?
Lol, I threw that last one in as a joke.

Tiger Woods’ agent says the golfer is not making any announcements Monday. Mark Steinberg was responding to rumors late Sunday that Woods was making an unspecified announcement Monday morning on Golf Channel.
Steinberg told The Associated Press on Monday: “There’s an erroneous report that he’s making an announcement, but he’s not.”

Kelly Rowland Wears Her Butt Pads As Fashion Accessories
A loyal reader asked me to comment on singer Kelly Rowland’s butt pads since I make such an issue out of Beyonce and Kim Kardashian wearing butt pads. Rowland was photographed at the the ‘X Factor’ auditions in the U.K. yesterday.
Yes, it is true that I criticize Beyonce and Kim K unmercifully for wearing butt pads, but that’s only because they intentionally deceive the public into believing that their artificially enhanced butts are real.
Kelly, on the other hand, wears her butt pads as fashion accessories only.
For instance, you can see that Kelly is not wearing her butt pads while shopping with a friend at River Island on fashionable High Street in London on Tuesday (July 5).
Whether Kelly is wearing butt pads or not, there is no question that the girl is fierce!

Crazed gunman kills 2 children, 5 adults before turning the gun on himself
Grand Rapids police say ‘domestic issues’ sparked a six-hour shooting rampage, a high speed chase and a tense standoff that ended when the gunman turned the gun on himself.
According to the Daily Mail, Rodrick Dantzler, of Grand Rapids, Michigan killed his wife, two of her sisters and his own 10-year-old daughter during a dispute at their home. He then went over to an ex-girlfriend’s house, where he herded the frightened woman and two others, including a child, into a basement and shot them to death.
Dantzler led police on a high speed chase through downtown Grand Rapids, at one point driving the wrong way down the interstate highway with more than a dozen squad cars in pursuit and helicopters overhead.
After crashing his car and firing on a police cruiser, Dantzler escaped on foot and barged into a home on Knapp Street near James Ave, where he took 3 people hostage.

R&B singer Ciara was spotted feeding the meter outside Marie Nails in Los Angeles yesterday. She had her pups, Tyson and Georgia, with her. The 25-year-old star is coming off a 4 date mini-tour of South Africa with producer/rapper Timbaland, singer Chris Brown and rapper Lil Kim. Ciara will soon embark on a 10-city tour with singer Taio Cruz. The tour kicks off in Miami on July 16, and will include stops in Dallas, New York City, and Los Angeles — but not Atlanta. Boo!

No Book Deals for Casey Anthony
Baby killer Casey Anthony is scheduled to leave prison on July 17 — according to the media. But don’t expect to see publishers lining up with lucrative book deals for the mentally unstable 25-year-old.
In a shocking verdict last week, a Florida jury acquitted Anthony of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony in 2009.
Many are comparing Anthony’s case to the O.J. Simpson trial that ended in a not guilty verdict in 1995. Simpson, 63, was on trial for slaughtering his wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, in 1994. He is currently serving a 15 year sentence in a Nevada prison for robbery and kidnapping.
“Publishers have a long memory and after the public outcry that led to the canceled publication of the O.J. Simpson book ['If I Did It'], everyone will think twice before offering Casey a deal,” one senior book editor told Popeater’s Rob Shuter.
“Anyone that touches this book is committing career suicide,” a writer told Shuter. “Not to mention, how do you go to sleep at night knowing you are making this young woman rich?”

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his estranged wife, Maria Shriver, have filed for divorce and agreed to split his $400 million fortune. But Shriver isn’t going far; she is purchasing a $10 million mansion in the same exclusive Brentwood neighborhood where Arnold is openly cavorting with his mistress and their son, Joseph.
Schwarzenegger, 63, successfully hid his love child from the media and the public for 12 years. But now that his secret is in the open, Arnold is no longer hiding his love for his former maid, Mildred Baena, 50, and their seed.
“Arnold wants to spend time with Joseph and play more of an active role in his life,” a source told RadarOnline. “In a way, Arnold is relieved that he no longer has to hide the fact that he is Joseph’s father.”
“Arnold apologized to Joseph because he had to miss the last few weeks of school, and Joseph said he had no problem missing school and could forgive him for that,” the source said. “It was a really tender moment between father and son.”
