When tennis superstar Serena Williams approached the umpire's chair in an aggressive manner during yesterday's Finals match at the U.S. Open, she was exhibiting symptoms of 'roid rage.
During the Women's Finals match against Australian player Samantha Stosur, Williams yelled out during a point which distracted Stosur causing her to mishit the ball.
The chair umpire awarded Stosur the point, sending Williams into a blinding rage.
"Are you the one that screwed me over the last time?" Williams said. "You're a nobody! You're ugly on the inside. That is totally ugly!" she shouted at the umpire.
When play resumed, Stosur went on to defeat Williams in straight sets 6-2, 6-4 to win the U.S. Open.
It's possible that Williams is addled by the side effects of performance enhancing substances such as anabolic steroids. It's easy to see from her frequent melt downs on the court that she is out of control.
Persistent use of anabolic steroids causes aggression, hostility, rage and incidences of violence in an otherwise healthy male. Imagine the havoc it wreaks in a narcissistic female?
