Beyonce Returns to the Stage After 5 Months of Babysitting
Cabaret singer Beyonce gets up close and personal with her Stans as she lays on stage inches away from them on final tour date in Atlantic City! Beyonce’s Stans acted like returned triumphantly to the stage after having open heart surgery or something. The girl was babysitting for the past 5 months. What’s so special about that?
Beyonce’s live sets at the Revel Resort and Casino in Atlantic City was her first since late last year when she performed within days of supposedly giving birth to her first daughter, Blue Ivy.
Many celebrities took to their Twitter pages to remark on Beyonce’s performances. Including rap producer The Dream who tweeted: “Beyonce Knowles May very well be the Baddest MFkr on stage Live Since MJ! Period! Point Blank.”
And Beyonce’s husband, Jay Z, tweeted:
“I’m gonna say this and then I’m gonna end mine.” BEYONCE is the best performer in the world. Period.
But not everyone was impressed.
Music critics assailed the Revel Resort and Casino where workers are forced to reapply for their jobs after 3 years.
One blogger, ThatGrapeJuice was moved to write a post asking if creativity was in decline.
The more we praise visual performers such as Beyonce, the less the music industry will focus on REAL artists!

You soo right… Long story short (PG version), this all that we did …
- Found some navy boys and hopped on their bikes and left everybody
- Missed our cruise to an island so we had to take another cruise to an adjacent island and run over & got chased by wild dogs
- Got to the island but realized we lost ALL our pesos running
- Lost my best friend for the night and she came back and told us she was with dude but never explained why she had to go to the emergency room until YEARS later

I attended 3/4 concerts. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. We only paid for one. I have to say I was entertained the whole two hours. I’m not even a Bey fan like that. I like the occasional song like Countdown and Start Over. It took 1+1 a year to grow on me. I respect her passion and how she is involved in every element. The chemistry she has with everyone on that stage is ideal. The first two nights, we were in the Beyhive pit which was right by the stage. I was right in front of her cooch during Crazy In Love. My hubby said he felt some type of way. My bestie said she felt like she had been violated without being touched. Her energy was crazy. During outfit changes, she was still singing and ad-libbing. The whole thing was a production. She gave her all. Last night, we were in the VIP with the likes of Queen Latifah, Michelle Williams, Gloria Carter, and people like that. She told the audience to take a mental picture and put the damn phones down and enjoy the show. In the videos that she released prior to the concerts, you see Tina Knowles holding Blue Ivy during dance rehearsals. All in all, we enjoyed the show. No two nights were the same. There were obvious tweaks and differences each night. Would I have paid $700/per night for four nights like some of her fans did? Absolutely not. Then again, I’m not a stan, so I’m not going to max out credit cards just for her to touch my hand. As far as the statement about her being the best performer, I kinda agree. The whole 2 hours she had you on your feet. She has killer stage presence. I can’t knock her hustle. At this point, no other performer is on her plane as far as singing, dancing, and theatrics. She pocketed $4.8 million for what–8 hours of showtime? Yeah, kill it mama and do you baby.
