Troubled singer Chris Brown was on his best behavior as he listened intently to the judge during his court appearance on Monday, June 10, in Los Angeles, where a preliminary probation violation hearing was scheduled for July 15. Monday's hearing was related to the 2009 domestic violence case in which he pleaded guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend, singer Rihanna. The July 15th hearing will determine whether Brown violated his probation by turning in doctored paperwork claiming he had completed his community service in Virginia.

Chad Johnson Sentenced to 30 Days in Jail

Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson will be tweeting from jail for the next 30 days. The out-of-work football player was in court today to seek a plea deal with no jail time for head butting his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada last year.

The judge was all set to agree to the plea deal when she asked Johnson if he was satisfied with the work of his attorney. Johnson responded by slapping his lawyer on his butt.

Missing Teacher's Body Found in Submerged Car Police in Louisiana believe they have found the body of missing teacher, Terrilynn Monette.

Monette's black Honda was found by a diver submerged in a Louisiana bayou, CNN reports.

Monette, 26, was last seen leaving Parlay's Dream Lounge in New Orleans on March 2, after celebrating her nomination for a "Teacher of the Year" award with friends.

The diver continued to look for Monette's car in waterways long after police called off their search in March, Detective Daniel Seuzeneau of the Slidell Police Department, told CNN.

Monette's mother, Toni Enclade, told CNN that police informed her that her daughter's car was found with a decomposed body in the driver's seat.

"To know that she could have possibly been there for three months," she said, overcome with emotion.

Cop Arrests Sober Man Because He Looked Drunk Jesse Thornton was previously arrested 10 times for driving while black in surprise, AZ. Now he is taking action after his latest arrest.

WXYZ.com reports that Thornton, a 64-year-old retired firefighter hadn't been drinking when he was pulled over by police one recent night.

"I can tell you're driving DUI by looking in your eyes," Thornton said the cop told him.

"I take my glasses off and he says, 'You've got bloodshot eyes. I think you're DUI,'" said Thornton.

Thornton said he told the cop his eyes were red because he was swimming earlier in the evening. Thornton was ordered to take a sobriety test and sit on the curb, despite having a bad hip and knee.

Jessica Simpson lawsuit

A Louisiana couple say actress and singer Jessica Simpson went too far when she tried to pass off their baby as her own for a magazine cover.

The couple is suing Simpson, 32, OK! magazine and Getty Images (which sold the photo). Simpson is accused of double-dipping -- trying to make money from OK! magazine after she had signed away the exclusive rights to her newborn's photos to another magazine for six-figures.

According to the lawsuit, Christopher Hurst and Tracy Gregory took their 2 children to a Dillard's Department store in Metairie to meet Simpson, who was signing autographs in October 2011.

Ciara Served With Lawsuit Onstage

Celebrities "double dip" all the time to make easy cash under the table. It's a shady practice that is frowned upon by the music industry. Double dipping may have gotten R&B singer Ciara into hot water with a Los Angeles nightclub promoter.

It all unfolded when Ciara agreed to accept $10,000 to make an appearance at West Hollywood nightclub Hit Factory for a gay pride event Friday night. But Ciara was also contracted to perform at another LA area gay club on Saturday night, which would've been a conflict of exclusivity.

NJ Cop charged with road rage

An off-duty New Jersey cop is being held on $1 million bond after a road rage incident ended in the death of a 36-year-old man.

Police tell MYFoxNY.com that 40-year-old Joseph Walker shot and killed Joseph Harvey Jr., of Maryland, after an altercation on the shoulder of the interstate Saturday night. Walker's wife and 3 young children -- all under the age of 7 -- were in his minivan at the time of the shooting.
