Jon Stewart and Sean Hannity

Stand-up comedian Jon Stewart took offense to Fox News pundit Seah Hannity calling crack dealer-turned-rapper Jay Z a “former crack dealer.”

I don’t always agree with everything Hannity says, but there’s nothing wrong with stating the facts — unless you’re referring to one of President Obama’s pals (Jay Z) while you’re a guest on a show hosted by a shameless Obama supporter (Stewart).

From Miss Info:

It’s no secret than Jon Stewart isn’t exactly Fox News’ biggest fan, and last night he happily tore into his least favorite station over their coverage of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s recent meeting with Jay Z. Instead of applauding the effort (yeah, right), Sean Hannity made extra sure that the people at home knew about Hov’s criminal history, repeatedly referring to him as a “former crack dealer” and not, y’know, as a hugely successful and influential musician, businessman and philanthropist.

However, before Stewart could really sink his teeth into Hannity, his fellow Daily Show correspondent Jessica Williams came through in the clutch with some wonderful evidence of Fox News’ blatant and racist hypocrisy. Consider this another win for humanity.
