There are widespread reports that rap superstar DJ Khaled was booed off stage during his set at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas on Sunday, June 18.

According to BET.com, the rotund producer was kept waiting backstage while the sound man struggled to fix the sound issues.

DJ Kahled is a master at marketing himself. The 41-year-old millionaire handled the damage control himself by posting a series of videos on his social media pages to dismiss the rumors that he was booed off stage.

“They cut my time short and they had me back stage for a hour and half and the sound kept breaking … then I heard my fans and I said I’m go out even if the sound cuts off and even if they cut my time short,” the father-of-one wrote on Instagram.com.

Sandrarose.com could not find any videos confirming the widespread reports that he was booed.

    why is this news????

  • RespectSelf

I like him for some reason… I guess I be feeling the positive vibe he got going for him

  • Coy little wink

    NEXT!!!!!!!

  • datATLboi

uhhhhhh….what would be be doing on stage? He don’t sing or rap….

  • JV

Of course fans are going to boo if there’s sound issues that cut the show short. There’s no concert where that’s not going to happen.

  • Soda

What’s a Life Partner, does it involve a signed contract? I guess it’s more glamorous than just being what it is~ baby mama/baby daddy.

  • Coy little wink

I think that’s when you’ve passed the dopamine phase + 15 years at it

  • stav

Life partner in this case , she is committed to him,but he’s not committed enough to her to marry her. He still wants to do what he wants to do , but he will provide some luxuries( hence the Rolex, diamond earrings, and his lifestyle), and when he cheats , he can feel better about the situation being as though they’re not married.

  • soujourn_erets

Indeed. Idk how and why we support this

  • Peter Piper ATL

He is so overrated. I find it very difficult to support people who take black culture and use it to their advantage, while giving nothing tangible back.

Its not enough that his people own every gas station in every ‘hood in America, but he wants you to buy his lame sounding music with him screaming like a white woman, “WE THE BEST!!!”. Ugghhh.

    He’s worse than Eminem.

I would’ve booed his fat ass too.

  • ReadingIsFundamental4Real

    You said…
    That baby looks like….
    Omg…
    LOL is not good enough
I need to go pray for laughing at that

  • JustB

He is annoying…he is trying his best to fill Puffy shoes…we don’t need his keys… Blacks have always had the keys, just trying to get back to that… We come from greatness

  • Peter Piper ATL

And they put way too much Blue Magic hair grease on that child’s head.

Kids are supposedly off-limits but that baby looks like he needs a bath.

  • JV

    Ah, “Life Partner…”

  • ShadesofEMPRESS

DJ Khaled seems like he tries to hard but he’s nice as well. He’s very positive.

  • AG

If she were black, Sandra would have said “baby mama.”

  • MsPam

How come Black Twitter is not jumping on Nicole for wearing cornrows?! What is folks calling that culture approbation?! He’s still annoying, him and Rob need to go to a fat farm!

  • https://twitter.com/Chicagowise Chicagowise

This clown gives me irritable bowel syndrome.

  • Nicol B

Should we be worried about the cornrows??? Or the fact that Khaled regularly drops the “N” bomb???

  • MsPam

What? Girl! I didn’t know that!??Well you know some of us will be okay with that! Stop passing out that black pass.

  • E-VannaRootsAllEvil

    I’m boooing him right now

  • Jen_no_juice

Can’t someone tell me some songs that has actual verses preformed by DJ Khalid??? And him yelling “We the best ” doesn’t count

  • Jen_no_juice

    LOLLLL

  • MsPam

    I’m dead

  • leapyearpisces

You see how he is putting the money he got from some of us ( he ain’t never got any of my coins), back into his community by procreating with one of his own even though I am sure he has had his lion”s share of black cookie. Some of these brothers should take note. Just saying.

  • Mbailey

    BOOOOOOOO!

  • Shani

You and me both…oh, and I LOVE your screen name!!

  • thaye

    Bwahaaaaaa

  • thaye

I will throw in some hissing and some popcorn throwing ?

  • thaye

    Damn homie

  • thaye

Well……..if she is from northern Africa (Middle East) she is somewhat appropriate for the culture.

  • Idraghoes??

Maybe they tired of his half ass shouting and mixing?

  • Jahnée Gill Mr.Eddie Murphy

What culture? They’re from Palestine. Cornrows are not apart of their culture, unless you’re counting the blacks that use to heavily populate that country.

  • soujourn_erets

Youre spot on! We’re responsible for this mess. From asain owned beauty shop to kkk.

  • Faithz

  • LibraGirlonly

  • Lady Elle

He might not have been booed off, but he should have been…???

  • Lady Elle

    Too funny!

  • E-VannaRootsAllEvil

    And throw tomatoes

  • Peter Piper ATL

Thanks so much my new Friend! Wow, I’m flattered like a MF. Lol.

YOU made MY day. And thanks because prior to reading your post, I had accepted that today was one of the shyttiest days I’ve had in a very long time. You changed that, and I appreciate you so much for it.

  • ihatethesebitches

That’s another way of saying, that bitch ain’t getting a ring.

  • the guest

His baby boy, his family, and his confidence are beautiful. I am not a fan of today’s hip hop sound, but I look for the positive in people.

DJ Khaled is rich, loved, loves his family, and loving his blessings, and that’s positivity. His significant other/mother of his child is not on this blog hunting him down for child support, she’s pictured on this blog blissfully happy, loved and cared for. Their baby boy is cherished and loved up. That’s positivity.

  • the guest

She’s African and they wear cornrows. Whoever braided her hair did a beautiful job. White Latinos wear cornrows too.

  • the guest

A lot of Palenstinian Americans in America choose black identity when confronted with choosing between the boxes of black, white, or Hispanic.

  • the guest

    DJ Khaled is no Eminem.

Eminem is legitimately a living rap legend.

  • the guest

Life Partner is a white bohemian hippie and feminist term they use it because they don’t believe in the institution of marriage. I never heard black folks or hip hop culture use that term.

  • the guest

Black folks sabotage each other. Black men choose not to value black women. Black people wouldn’t support a black owned beauty supply. The black mind is conditioned and content to tear other blacks down.

  • the guest

    Agreed.

  • Malcom Flex

Freaky fat culture vulture baby mama and his bastard brat. But black women keep loving And defending him recycle African-American culture make money and bring it back to his Palestinian people.him #Brainwashed.

  • Mac Jones

DJ Khaled. What does he do? He doesnt rap. Or ghostwrite. He doesn’t produce beats. And he isn’t a real DJ. What does he do?

  • Malcom Flex

All of that and he’s not doing a damn thing for black people.

  • Renee26

Ok, so what is Yellow Claw?? I’m sooo confused….and why was the “booing” just that one person lol

  • Renee26

    Same thing I wanna know

  • Renee26

    Their…not There :sighs:

  • NeverSurprised

I lived in Brooklyn for two decades. Many Palestinians opened stores in black Brooklyn neighborhoods, charged exorbitant prices for shabby goods, NEVER HIRED A SINGLE BLACK EMPLOYEE, and generally showed a quiet contempt for their black customers. That remains the case in most black neighborhoods where middle easterners have set up shop. Yes, some of the younger males, when attempting to be cool, adopt black speech styles, but that’s about as far as it goes.

Khaled and his fiancé are making money off of black culture, so that is the reason for their current styles. Privately, within their own Palestinian circles, neither of them would EVER identify themselves as black.

  • Miany

but… STILL his culture is more trailer park than hip hop.. I don’t knock EM tho, he tried to do a lil give back to Flint.

  • Doink_Ahanahue

    true or not,

What did all that name calling have to do with anything? I haven’t noticed any black women actually checking for him specifically. And even if he’s found his niche in music or whatever, why is that a bad thing?

I honestly believe some of those that are so focused on who is doing what in each race are just as prejudiced as Jim Crow!

  • Doink_Ahanahue

Actually, he has helped all the Black people on the tracks he produces or releases make a lot of hits which in turn makes people dance (of all races that enjoy that type of music or sound) which in turn makes all of them money, which they in turn spend adding to the economy.

We as Black people have opportunities just like everyone else, but many times we are too short-sighted to do anything with them. We also need to stop worrying about who is doing for us (whining and complaining) and stand up and do for ourselves.

  • Mama Dee’s Wig Maker

He is, but he’s so adorable.

  • Alisa

So is it acceptable in his culture to have a child out of wedlock. I never understand why folks are together playing house for so long w/o getting married.

  • Def Curry

you are very lost and you don’t understand the music business at all, Khaled couldn’t produce a record if you paid him he actually steals creations from other artist and puts his name on it, the people who actually have the talent who know nothing about publishing deals get taken advantage of and he keeps the publishing, people who comment on things they don’t truly grasp are bothersome. You don’t know the facts about how this man has appropriated a culture and used his family money and influence to sneak into the game and exploit very talented producers and songwriters for his befit yet you have the nerve to attempt to call out black people, The man is a culture vulture tried true and tested, you lack the information required to even comment on the situation, The man is a fraud and he is using black appropriated culture to get rich.

  • https://twitter.com/Chicagowise Chicagowise

I can’t stand the sight of his bloated @$$.

  • samuel severino

In the Electronic Dance Music world Yellow Claw is a big deal.

  • samuel severino

I can’t stand when non Blacks totally appropriate everything about our culture and brag about their famous Black friends but they never date our women.
It is like Black Women are not good enough for them.

  • samuel severino

Just robbing and making money and fame off of the culture.

  • Howard Alum ?

Thank you!!!!! He’s mad annoying, loud and obnoxious. It’s as if he thinks that’s what WE want. Naw bruh, naw….

  • Malcom Flex

Name-calling? Special snowflake I guess your ass never listen to hip-hop? ?? It’s all about the insults so give me a FN break.

Naw knucklehead sorry some of us black people are woke and we’re not drinking the Kool-Aid and when I decide to kiss the ass of someone- it is not culture vultures leeching off of African-American music.

  • Malcom Flex

That person is mammying that hook nose freaky fat culture vulture.

  • Malcom Flex

If he helps black people my name is Jay Z! I know for a fact you’re on his payroll because you’re coming too hard with your cape!

  • Malcom Flex

    ???

  • Malcom Flex

    ??

  • Malcom Flex

Stop lying!! Palestinian Americans want to be as white as possible they only want to be around black people to suck our resources

  • Doink_Ahanahue

Cape? So being realistic instead of a hot headed “racist ant-racist” is having a cape? The fact is regardless of who likes him personally (I don’t know him) people love his tracks which means the people on them get paid and exposure for future hits. Maybe you just mad because he hasn’t put you on? hmmm.

  • Doink_Ahanahue

Music is supposed to transcend barriers. Ignorance keeps it from doing so. If you make good music and have decent business practices I have no issue with it regardless of who it is.

And I am a hip-hop fan so this new mess isn’t appealing to me truthfully. But if you can find your niche, more power to you!

  • Doink_Ahanahue

Then why do people still jump on the track with him? SOunds like the Armenian version of Baby to me.

And I agree, if anyone is exploiting or misdealing with people, they should not get support. I hadn’t seen that info. Going to look into it now

  • Renee26

Ohhhh so it was a group …Thanks

  • Harley

    People so blind

  • Audrey Nauden
