On Monday Wendy Williams tearfully announced her popular daytime talk show was renewed through 2022. The TV personality, who has had her share of heartbreaks this year, was clearly relieved to finally get the news off her chest.

"I got through the whole show without shedding a tear," she said before making her big announcement.

"The Wendy Show has been renewed through 2022!"

But even though Wendy's show was renewed, Page Six reports the show will definitely be cancelled after the 2022 season.

Page Six claims The Wendy Show's producer Debmar-Mercury "likely" renewed the show because there was nothing else to air in its time slot.

"They don't have anyone strong enough to replace her. They were back into a corner," an inside source told Page Six. "She will surely not be coming back beyond the two-season renewal. This will be her swan song."

Wendy had her share of problems in 2019. She filed for divorce from her cheating husband, Kevin Hunter, after he fathered a baby girl with his longtime mistress, Sharina Hudson.
