Celebs Out & About: Chris Brown, Kim Kardashian, Gayle King, Kevin Liles
Troubled singer Chris Brown continues to cheat on his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. Clearly he has a type (LSLH and blissfully clueless). His newest victim catch is Brazilian model Suelyn Medeiros. The two bonded in his hotel room recently as they made funny faces for a friend’s camera. Chris held Suelyn tightly and passionately after a romp in the sack.
Troubled reality personality Kim Kardsashian was spotted walking aimlessly around the set of Tyler Perry’s new movie, Marriage Counselor on the first day of filming in Atlanta yesterday. The NY Post reports that hundreds of outraged fans flooded Tyler Perry’s website with angry messages asking the famed director to remove Kim Kardashian from the cast. But Tyler told TMZ that Kim is the only reason anyone cares about his movie and she will not be fired.
Undaunted by the controversy, Kim appeared to be going over her script. It isn’t clear if Kim can even act her way out of a paper bag. (Tyler must know something that we don’t.) According to Splash News, the movie location was “extremely secure” with her security guard on a complete lock down. Security and set workers tried their best to keep the reality star hidden as the entire outside of the studio was covered so paparazzi and fans would hardly be able to see her. Kim will be actually giving advice on marriage to her co-star (actress Jurnee Smollet) as part of the plot.
Celebs Out & About: Eddie Murphy, Serena Williams, Nas, Gabourey Sidibe
Actor/comedian Eddie Murphy attended the world premiere of his action flick ‘Tower Heist’ in New York City last night. But it was the powerfully built tennis star Serena Williams who stole the red carpet. The Diva wore a black cashmere sweater over a leather skirt and platform heels. ‘Tower Heist’, starring Murphy and Ben Stiller, is in theaters everywhere Nov. 4. Also attending the premiere were Sean Combs, Nas, Donald Trump, Sarah Jessica Parker, actor Matthew Broderick, Ben Stiller, Tea Leoni, Tracy Morgan, Gabourey Sidibe and more.
Earlier in the day, Eddie Murphy and rapper Nas, left, stopped by the set of BET’s “106 & Park” at the BET Studios to chat with the shows co-hosts Rocsi, and Terrence J. Terrence does not look a bit shook, does he?
Celebs Out & About: Drake, Vivica A. Fox, Jody Watley, Estelle, Kim Coles, Antonio Banderas, Selma Hayek
Rapper Drake celebrated his 25th birthday with a bash at TAO in Las Vegas last night. We don’t care if he’s gay or straight, as long as he hurries up and drops his much-anticipated CD, Take Care, on Nov. 15.
Actress Vivica A. Fox attended the “Puss In Boots” Los Angeles Premiere at Regency Village Theatre yesterday (Oct. 23) in Westwood, California. Rumor has it that Aunt Viv and her handsome boy toy, local promoter Omar “Slimm” White, are no longer together. We reached out to Slimm for confirmation but he had no comment. One tell-tale sign of trouble in paradise is Slimm and Viv stopped following each other on Twitter.com. Viv also removed all signs of Slimm from her Twitter page. But she’s still wearing the 8 carat diamond engagement rock that he gave her. So, being the credible blogger that we are, we will wait for the official announcement from their publicist before we comment any further.

Fantasia lied to ‘Mahalia’ producers about her pregnancy

We all know that R&B singer Fantasia has significant personality and emotional problems. But apparently, the producers of the new biopic on the life of gospel legend Mahalia Jackson don’t read the blogs, or they would have known that too.
They would have known not to waste their time casting her for such a plum role because her unpredictable behavior would certainly disrupt the shooting schedule.
Readers of this blog know that Fantasia likely suffers from NPD (narcissistic personality disorder), which means she’s a pathological liar, and she thinks the world revolves around her.
So it should come as no surprise that the movie’s producers are fuming mad at Fantasia for lying about her pregnancy. If it makes the producers feel any better; she lied to us about her pregnancy too.
Members of legendary gospel singer Mahalia Jackson’s estate are aghast that 2004 “American Idol” winner Fantasia Barrino has become pregnant by a married man as she prepares to play the Queen of Gospel in the biographical film “Mahalia!”
Producers are also furious with Fantasia, 27, for not telling them about her unexpected pregnancy until she was four months in. “She [initially] claimed that she was putting on weight for the role,” an insider said.
Production of the movie has been pushed back because of Fantasia’s pregnancy with her married boyfriend, Antwaun Cook.
“The family thinks if Fantasia plays the role, it’s going to sully the name of Mahalia,” executive producer Adrian Taylor told us. “They think she’s got the wrong image, having a child out of wedlock.”
Barrino’s pregnancy has also caused chaos with scheduling conflicts because filming has been delayed until after her due date on Dec. 27. Director Euzhan Palcy may be forced to drop out of the project.
Producers are now scrambling to finish the movie by fall 2012. Barrino has been asked to start filming as soon as January and is in negotiations to alter her contract to allow time for breast-feeding and nurturing her child on set.
Contagion breaks out at #1; Sanaa Lathan on her role in Contagion
Contagion, Steven Soderbergh’s movie about a deadly virus that causes a worldwide pandemic is the #1 movie in America.
The Warner Bros. thriller took in $23.1 million over the weekend, enough to wipe out The Help, which ended its 3 week run at #1.
Contagion, starring Oscar winners and nominees Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow and Laurence Fishburne, has exceeded studio estimates at the box office.
Actress Sanaa Lathan, 40, who plays Fishburne’s fiancée in the movie, was in Atlanta on Friday to promote the movie. The buxom beauty participated in roundtable interviews with local media.
Your auntie was the only blogger invited to interview Lathan at the Four Seasons hotel. Unfotunately, we couldn’t make it so we asked celebrity blogger Tami of Talkingwithtami.com to sit in on the interview since she’s better at that sort of thing.
Below are excerpts from Tami’s interview with Sanaa, which you can read in full by clicking here.
On her favorite things in her closet
“Ooh, I have these one pair of red suede Louboutins that zip up the back. I always pair them with a black dress, they make me feel hott! I wear them a lot lol.”

“Day-to-Day I love Bohemian Chic. I’m a flower child lol. I love Louboutins, Prada, YSL shoes. I wore Rachel Roy to the premiere of Contagion.”
