In Case You Missed It: Braxton Family Values, Episode 9

In last night’s episode of ‘Braxton Family Values‘, Trina Braxton admitted giving oral sex to one of her male band members. But in a recent video interview with blogger Karen Civil, which we posted yesterday, Trina revealed that she and her cheating husband, Gabe Solis, (pictured above on their wedding day) have been “legally separated” for a year.
So does that mean all of their scenes are scripted?
By the way, best wishes and a speedy recovery to R&B icon Toni Braxton who was recently hospitalized with a Lupus flare up.

Trina & Tamar Braxton Discuss Infidelity, Gossip and Negativity

‘Braxton Family Values‘ stars Trina and Tamar Braxton sat down with celebrity blogger Karen Civil to discuss infidelity, gossip blogs and negativity vs the positive.
Trina opened about her husband Gabe Solis’ online voyeurism, and she revealed that they have been legally separated for a year because of it.
“We didn’t put this out there for the show,” said Trina, “but Gabe and I are legally separated. So Gabe has the right to do whatever he chooses and with whom…”
The pain and the hurt are palpable in Trina’s voice as she makes conflicting statements about her “relationship” with Gabe.
“We are talking and we are praying about different things… we don’t know where we are… where we’re going to be. Nobody’s relationship is perfect, and ours definitely not!,” says Trina.
The shade being thrown by Tamar as Trina talks about Gabe indicates that she doesn’t believe her sister’s words either.
We won’t comment on what Trina and Tamar had to say about gossip blogs and negative comments because we know that they are new to the blogs and they need time to process the fact that negativity and criticism comes with the territory when you seek fame.
Tameka Foster: ‘I am not June Cleaver or head of the PTA’
Usher Raymond’s ex-wife, Tameka Raymond continues her quest to gain public sympathy. She recently sat down for an interview with Uptown magazine to talk about why she thinks User is fighting her for full custody of their sons, Usher Raymond IV, aka Cinco, 4, and Daviyd, 3.
“He is a man very accustomed to having his way,” Raymond says. “This has nothing to do with how I parent. Trust me, I never will have a desire to keep a man away from his kids. I am not June Cleaver or head of the PTA, but I know I am a good mother.”
The above photo from the interview shows Tameka with her oldest son, Darrin, 21 (far right), whom she had when she was 19 and roughing it in Oakland, CA.
The other boys are Daviyd play fighting with his half brother (whom Tameka had with Atlanta clothier Ryan Glover). Glover’s other son is the boy sitting 2nd from left with Cinco.
Darrin is a mystery to many Tameka observers who thought she only had 4 boys.
As Uptown Editor-in-chief Isoul Harris explains: Darrin’s father was murdered before he was born. During the photo shoot, Darrin noticed Isoul snapping a pic with his cell phone and he immediately signaled to Tameka, whom he is “?ercely protective” of.
“Because I had him at such a young age, he and I basically grew up together and we are extremely close. But I am very conscious not to be an overbearing mother,” says Tameka.

In Case You Missed It: The Game, Season 5, Episodes 1 & 2
The highly-anticipated season 5 of BET’s scripted series The Game premiered last night, and the reactions to the show were mixed.
The Game’s director Bille Woodruff decided to take the show in a slightly different direction from the past 4 seasons. For starters, the show was lost without the wit and dead-on comedic timing of the sexy Brittany Daniels (Kelly Pitts).
Twitter.com users offered up a myriad of reasons why Brittany was no longer on the show (from money issues to taking a leave of absence). Whatever the reason, her presence was sorely missed.
Director Woodruff decided to water down the intensely independent Tasha Mack (played by Wendy Raquel Robinson, above right), and give her more emotions and feelings. And just to make sure we understood that Tasha Mack’s character has grown (and is no longer funny), Kanye West’s anemic single “Lost In The World” played annoyingly in the background of her scenes.
The newest addition to the cast, Ray J’s sister Brandy Norwood, left, added nothing to the show as bartender Chardonnay. Her faux hood character was annoying and the scenes with her and Coby Bell (Jason Pitts) dragged to a crawl.
Confirmed: Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez Engaged

Actors Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are engaged — to each other, US Weekly magazine confirms. Rumors swirled at the start of the New Year that Halle was engaged when the 48-year-old twice-divorced mother of one was spotted with a sizable rock on her left hand.
That same day, Halle turned the ring around and made a noticeable effort to hide her left hand from the paparazzi. But why all the secrecy? Shouldn’t an engagement be one of the happiest times of a woman’s life — even if it’s her third time?
According to US Weekly, Martinez, 46, proposed to Halle over the holidays, with an emerald-and-diamond ring from Gurhan. She met the French actor while working on the film Dark Tide in 2010.
Halle has a daughter, Nahla, 3, with Canadian underwear model Gabe Aubry, 36. Olivier has no children. Halle was previously married to R&B singer Eric Benet (2001), and former Atlanta Braves baseball star David Justice (1993). Each marriage lasted for 4 turbulent years.
Following her divorce from Benet, Halle swore she would NEVER marry again.
We wish we could say that we’re happy for Halle, but judging from her past history with men (mostly celebrities), we already know how this marriage will turn out.
It seems that Halle is one of those insecure women who only wants a wedding, not a marriage.
Guess Who’s Still Together?

Despite the rumors that rap mogul Sean Combs is currently dating actress Cameron Diaz (A-Rod’s old flame), the NY Post’s Page Six says differently:
Sightings: Sean “Diddy” Combs and longtime girlfriend Cassie shrugging off rumors of him cozying up to Cameron Diaz (he insists they’re just “friends”), enjoying a romantic dinner at Brasserie Cognac on Sunday night.
Why men will ALWAYS cheat (even if they love their partners)

A well-known author has written a book proving that men are pre-wired to cheat because they like sex — even though they love their wives or girlfriends.
Professor Eric Anderson’s book The Monogamy Gap: Men, Love, and The Reality of Cheating, details a study that he conducted using 120 college students. Anderson found that cheating is the norm for men, not the exception.
In the study, Anderson found that 78% of the male participants cheated on their wives or girlfriends — even though they loved their partners and did not want to break up.
In an interview with The Huffington Post, Anderson states that “infidelity does not break marriages up; it is the unreasonable expectation that a marriage must restrict sex that breaks a marriage up.”
In other words, it’s not the cheating that breaks up marriages, it’s women’s unrealistic expectations that a man should have sex with only one woman.
In order to preserve human existence, man must be fruitful (highly productive) and sow the seeds of future generations. This can not be achieved if 90% of men are married monogamously to a single woman and each couple bears an average of 2.5 children.
If men were not more sexually productive, the human species would cease to exist due to the effects of disease, deaths, old age, etc. Not to mention the deformities from inbreeding (incest between blood relatives).
