ET! Online is reporting the breaking news that Janet Jackson married her billionaire Arabian prince, Wissam Al Mana, in a secret ceremony last year. We shouldn't be surprised: Jackson secretly married her first husband, James DeBarge, when they were both teenagers. The marriage was annulled a year later.
She wed her 2nd husband, Rene Elizondo, also in secret, in 1991. That marriage ended in a bitter divorce when Janet learned he cheated on her.
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, ladies. It's been a rough year for you ladies -- with so many men coming out of the closet (Frank Ocean, Anderson Cooper). If you've been having a bad day, it's about to get worse.
According to celebrity blogger Miss Jia, actor Michael Ealy and his longtime girlfriend tied the knot.
According to the NY Daily News, NY Knicks star Amar'e Stoudemire finally married his long-suffering baby mama, Alexis Welch.
The couple did it the right way; by waiting until he was done sowing his wild oats. Alexis should be commended for holding things down at home while her seed donor ran the streets. She was wise enough to see that he was a good man despite all of his affairs (most notably with singer Ciara). But even though he stepped out on her he took care of the bills, which is what any real man should do.
Timberlake, 31, and Biel, 30, kept mum about the nuptials – they were even vague to guests, keeping the location in southern Italy a complete secret until the last minute – but PEOPLE will have all the details of the wedding, including exclusive photos, in next week's issue out Wednesday.
Engaged since December, when Timberlake proposed in Big Sky Montana with a custom-designed ring, the couple have been inseparable.
Bad news, ladies. Shaun T, right, the creator of 'INSANITY' Workout DVD has married his longtime boyfriend, Scott Blokker, left. Thenewcivilrightsmovement.com blog writes that Shaun T was a dancer for singer Mariah Carey.
I know this is shocking news for some of you women. I'll give you a moment to pull yourselves together...
Alexis Welch is one lucky woman. She stood by her man, NBA star A'mare Stoudemire, when he was out sowing his wild oats, and he rewarded her loyalty by asking her to be his wife. Most women would have bounced at the first sign of cheating (especially with a public figure like Ciara). But Welch (age unknown) realized that a man is going to be a man -- and regardless of what he does in the streets, her role is to be a good mother to his children.
Stiletto Jill reports that Alexis attended Fall 2013 bridal shows with Stoudemire's credit card looking for that perfect wedding gown to wear when she walks down the aisle with A'mare at their wedding next year. Some of the designers included Ines Di Santo, Reem AcraKenneth Pool, Christos and Rivini. Good for her!
Who else thought Bobby Brown and his manager/baby mama, Alicia Etheridge were already married? The lovebirds made it official during an intimate ceremony in Hawaii over the weekend. Bobby's son, Bobby Jr. tweeted this pic on Instagram.
According to E! Online, all of Bobby's children, except his estranged daughter Bobbi Kristina, attended the ceremony. Bobbi was reportedly shooting scenes with her boyfriend Nick Gordon in New York for her forthcoming Lifetime reality series, The Houston Chronicles.
BK reportedly stopped talking to her father after the sudden death of her mother Whitney Houston on Feb. 11 in Las Vegas.
Bobby and Alicia have one son together, Cassius, 3.
Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg, 28, married his longtime girlfriend, Priscilla Chan, in a secret ceremony at their $7 million Palo Alto, CA home on Saturday -- one day after his Facebook IPO made him $10 billion dollars richer.
But the Zuckerbergs' honeymoon is already over.
Just 2 days after Facebook's Wall Street underwriters scrambled to purchase over 300 million shares to keep Facebook's IPO afloat at $38, the stock opened 2 percent lower in pre-market trading this morning.
The social network made history with it's initial public offering on Friday, but Morgan Stanley, Facebook's chief underwriter, was forced to buy millions of shares to keep the stock at it's opening price. While that type of stock manipulation may sound illegal, it is perfectly legal according to Wall Street analysts.
Now there are new concerns that Facebook stocks will start trading at below it's IPO value when the bell rings on Wall Street at 9:30 a.m. If that happens, small time investors who purchased the stock on Friday will lose big.
Michael Vick is ready to make his baby mama, Kijafa Frank, official!
Page Six reports Vick will tie the knot with his longtime fiancée Kijafa at the Fontainebleau hotel and resort in Miami on June 30.
The guest list will include 300 family and friends, according to the NY Post.
Frink is no typical gold digger. She co-owns an accessories line and the PNK Elephant boutique. In other words, she's got her own gwap. Vick, 31, and Kijafa have two children together. She stood by him when he was sentenced to prison in 2007 on state and federal dog fighting charges.
Miami Heat star Chris Bosh also married his wife, the former Adrienne Williams, at the Fontainebleau in front of 300 guests. Congrats to the happy couple!
After witnessing the delivery of his newborn baby boy in Miami on Thursday, Chris Bosh boarded a private jet to New York City, where he helped his Miami Heat team crush the hapless NY Knicks 87-70 in game 3 of the Eastern Conference playoffs. The Knicks becomes the first team to lose 13 consecutive post-season games in the history of the NBA.
Bosh's wife, Adrienne, posted this pic of their newborn son, Jackson, on her Instragram page just moments ago.
By naming their son Jackson, Adrienne and Chris joins the newest trend in hip parenting: giving their children last names. My attorney, Precious Anderson-Scott, of the Anderson Firm, also named her 2-year-old son Jackson, and her 2-month-old son is named Davis.
According to ESPN, Chris Bosh left practice in New York to fly home to Miami where his wife Adrienne went into labor with the couple's first child. The couple were married last Summer and are expecting a baby boy. Bosh already has a daughter by a former jump off.
I ran into Bosh and Adrienne at the upscale Jeffrey shoe boutique inside the Phipps Plaza almost two months ago. The attention that he paid to her while she strolled around the store was so adorable. He is clearly a happy man.
The Heat were told late Wednesday that Bosh had to return home. Bosh left from New York on a private plane, and his wife, Adrienne, posted a photo on a social media account saying "hurry home."
FAA records showed Bosh's charter flight arrived in Miami shortly after 2 a.m. ET on Thursday. He arrived in New York with the Heat on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., before being called back to Miami about five hours later.
Bosh had earlier indicated that he'd be ready at a moment's notice.
"I've got a beeper so when it goes off, I'll be ready," Bosh said. "It's an exciting time, I'm trying to compete for a championship and prepare for new life. It is a busy time in the Bosh household."
Yesterday, Khloe Kardashian denied rumors that she and hubby Lamar Odom pulled the plug on their reality show, Khloe & Lamar.
But today, the rumor was confirmed by People magazine. Khloe, who appears on the cover of the current issue, told People why she and her hubby were stepping back from the limelight.
If you recall, I told you that a little west coast birdie dropped the scoop that Lamar put his Dallas Mavericks teammates on the back burner to reshoot scenes for Khloe's reality show. At the time Lamar claimed his father was gravely ill and he had to take a leave of absence to tend to him.
But the truth was soon revealed. Lamar's love for Khloe forced him to make the difficult choice between his team and the show. And that didn't sit well with team management.
Years ago I wrote a post about Khloe Kardashian dating rapper Young Jeezy. Literally minutes after I published that post, an email from Jeezy's publicist landed in my Inbox. She wanted me to know, in no uncertain terms, that Khloe was not dating Jeezy.
I know you don't care, but somebody does: 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' cast member Kim Zolciak is pregnant again.
After giving birth to her first son, Kroy Jagger (KJ) Jr., last May, Kim, 33, and her husband, 26-year-old Atlanta Falcons defensive Kroy Biermann, are expecting another boy, according to Life & Style magazine.
Kim already has two grown daughters from a previous relationship.
"Kroy and I are so excited," Kim, 33, exclusively confirms the news to Life & Style. "To decide we wanted to get pregnant again and have it happen so quickly was such a blessing."
Now four months pregnant, Kim is ready to share her happy news with the world, showing off her baby bump during an exclusive photo shoot only in this week's issue of Life & Style, on newsstands tomorrow.
"People are going to be shocked, because nobody knows," says Kim, who has yet to find out the sex of the baby. But boy or girl, "I'm so excited that KJ will have a little buddy." Source
It looks like singer and home wrecker Fantasia has lost her man -- to his wife. If the reports are correct, Fantasia's lover, and baby daddy, Antwaun Cook, has gone back to his wife (who never filed for divorce) and their 2 children.
Is this a success story about a womanizing man who realizes what he has at home? Did the Dopamine fade? Did Cook tire of Fantasia's neediness? Or did Cook and Paula simply play Fantasia for the dummy that she is -- and now Cook will file for full custody of the baby (and child support) since everybody knows Fantasia is not stable?
According to Radar Online, Cook's wife Paula has taken her wayward husband back.
Paula and Antwaun both ended up at Club RE:Public in Charlotte over the weekend and things got a little cozy between the two,” the source said. “I don’t know where Fantasia was, but she definitely wasn’t in the club where they were!”
“I don’t know where Fantasia was, but she definitely wasn’t in the club where they were!”
The source continued by saying that while Paula was receptive, she was still a little gun-shy with all the PDA.
“Antwaun was shoving his tongue down her throat and she kept having to push him away without trying to make a scene,” the source explained.
“He told Paula that she belongs to him because she’s still his wife!”
Fantasia and Antwaun first began dating while he was still married to Paula in early 2010, and after Paula filed a homewrecking court claim the former American Idol star tried to kill herself.
“What Fantasia doesn’t know is that through all of this, Paula hasn’t changed the locks on the house she once shared with Antwaun,” the source revealed.
“And Antwaun still has keys, so you can put two and two together.”
“Antwaun has lost interest in Fantasia,” the insider said. “He was even egging people on to take pictures of him and Paula together…he didn’t care who knew.”
My regular readers know that I'm big on the subject of wives being submissive to their husbands. According to Michelle Duggar, mother to 19 kids and counting, "submission" is the key to a happy marriage.
Mrs. Duggar was recently spotted handing out pamphlets outlining tips to a happy marriage. One of the highlights was this:
A Husband Needs A Wife Who Accepts Him As A Leader And Believes In His God-Given Responsibilities: Husbands are commanded to govern their wives; The more a wife trusts her husband, the more careful he will be in giving her direction; Never ask others for counsel without your husband’s approval; reassure your husband that you understand and believe that he is your God-given leader.
It's not rocket science, ladies: there can only be one king in the household.
A marriage is hard work -- just like your job. The work that you put into the marriage will pay off in the long run.
Using the workplace analogy: the same level of respect shown to your boss at work should be given to your spouse at home. Refusing to do so is in direct violation of your wedding vows.
Whatever you did to get that job is what you do to keep your job. Whatever you did to get your husband is what you should continue to do to keep him!
No one can deny that reality TV star Khloe Kardashian and NBA star Lamar Odom have a successful marriage. Unlike other people Kim Kardashian who fall in love on a whim, Khloe and Lamar got married for all the right reasons.
But even the most successful marriages hit a bump in the road. So how do they keep the fires burning? One good way is to try something new in the bedroom. Men are adventurous by Nature. They love to try new positions (and flavors) in bed.
In last night's season 2 premiere of 'Khloe & Lamar,' Khloe hooks up a sex swing over her bed, and then invites her husband to take a ride with her. Click the link below to see what happens!
Please note that the following is a positive post...
Actress Holly Robinson Peete and her husband, former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete, will renew their wedding vows after 17 years of marriage atop the Empire State Building on Monday, reports Page Six.
Celebrity event-and-wedding planner Colin Cowie, who designed the couple’s 1995 LA nuptials, will also coordinate the private affair.
When Holly hits the red carpets in Hollywood, she is often photographed with only 3 of her children; Ryan, 12, Robinson, 7, and Roman, 5.
Holly and Peete are also parents to an autistic child, RJ, 13, who was diagnosed when he was 3. RJ is Ryan's fraternal twin.
The Robinsons said RJ's diagnosis hit them both very hard.
Holly said: “We went through this emotional connection, and we just cried in each other’s arms. We didn’t know what the hell this autism thing was. We were both in denial for a few weeks.” Rodney added: “I stayed angry and blamed the doctor and was still in denial—while Holly basically rolled up her sleeves and did what needed to be done.”
Kim Kardashian's sister Khloe Kardashian-Odom was spotted having a wild hair day in Dallas while apartment shopping for her and her husband Lamar Odom. The Odoms are looking for a luxury condo in the $8000-$12000 a month range in the same building where Deieon Sanders owns a bachelor pad. Khloe appears to be wearing her sister Kim's Burberry Prorsum Aviator Shearling Boots, which retail for $1,395 (see pic of Kim wearing the same boots below). The boots are from the Fall/Winter 2010 collection and feature a cracked leather upper accented with gold buckles and lined with authentic lamb shearling on a 5 inch heel.
Local "celebrity attorney" Phaedra Parks represented one of her clients in court on a drug charge in last night's episode of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta'. Afterwards, in the parking lot, the enterprising young man peeled a couple of Gs off of a thick wad of cash and handed the money to Phaedra who quickly tucked the cash into her purse. I tried to reach my own attorney last night to ask her if accepting drug money on camera was legal. Maybe she didn't answer her phone because she was laughing so hard.
Last night VH1 premiered the much anticipated reality series, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle. The network aired 2 episodes back-to-back as T.I. held court at the Cinebistro in Brookhaven hosting a private screening for family and friends. In the 2nd episode, T.I. displayed his paternal love for his 6 children. A particularly touching scene occurred when T.I. was forced to choose between performing a sound check for BET's Hip Hop Awards or attending his son Domani's youth football game.
The responsible father in T.I. chose to attend Domani's football game after speaking with his son via phone and hearing the disappointment in the boy's voice. "Over the years I've grown to love my career. However, I love my family more," said T.I.
Talk show Diva Wendy Williams came under fire from fans of "The Kang" T.I. after he appeared on her show Thursday with his wife Tameka "Tiny" Harris to promote their new reality TV show, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.
During the interview, Wendy grilled T.I. on the touchy subjects of his past arrest on drug charges and his incarceration for violating his probation. A tense T.I. repeatedly interrupted Wendy's line of questioning, telling her "Life has moved on." (Watch the video here)
After the show, Wendy uploaded a video to her blog and facebook page giving her unique perspective on the tense verbal exchange between herself and T.I.
"What part of ‘you are an ex-con’ doesn’t he understand?," she said. "I get middle America, he’s trying to change his image. He shoulda thought about that before they arrested them…for real. I like T.I. I like his wife, Tiny. But you can’t have it both ways, sir. You go on 'The View' and other shows and give it up but what is it? I’m too familiar with you so that you don’t want to give it up here?"
But the nervous tension flying between T.I. and Wendy on the set wasn't the only topic of conservation on social networks and the blogs on Thursday.
Sisters in particular bristled when a self-confident T.I. gently told his wife to "pause" as she was about to answer one of Wendy's probing questions.
T.I. hushed his wife because the question involved rapper 50 Cent -- a man -- and T.I. thought that he -- a man -- was better qualified to handle it. No real man would sit quietly while his wife spoke on another man's drama.
It was one of those television moments that lent itself to ridicule and scorn from females on Twitter.com who long ago lost respect for Black men.
R&B singer Monica Brown and LA Lakers basketball star Shannon Brown were seen donating toys for 'Toys for Tots' charity run by the Marines at FAO Schwarz in New York City today. Monica and Shannon were in New York to appear on the 'Wendy Williams Show'. Mo confirmed she is not currently pregnant, but that she and her husband, Shannon Brown, "practice" getting pregnant "regularly". But Mo added that she and Shannon, who was sitting in the audience, do plan on having kids one day, but they already have 3 boys to raise.
24 hours after filing for divorce from embattled Atlanta preacher Bishop Eddie Long, his long-suffering wife, Vanessa Long, has asked her attorneys to withdraw her divorce petition.
Mrs. Long blames "years of attacks in the media" for her abrupt decision to file for divorce yesterday (Dec. 1).
But in a new statement released this afternoon, Mrs. Long said,
"Upon prayerful reflection, I have reconsidered and plan to withdraw my petition for divorce from my husband, Bishop Eddie L. Long," she said in an emailed statement bearing the New Birth logo. "I love my husband. I believe in him and admire his strength and courage."
Yesterday, Mrs. Long appeared to give up on her marriage to the troubled leader of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church:
"After a great deal of deliberation and prayer, I have decided to terminate my marriage to Bishop Eddie L. Long. Accordingly, I authorized my attorneys to file for divorce on December 1, 2011."
The divorce filing followed a tumultuous period for the Bishop, who, earlier this year, settled a sexual misconduct suit brought by 4 former Longfellow Youth Academy students, and a fifth man who was not included in the suit.
Things got hot and heavy when rapper T.I. and his wife Tiny Harris sat down with Wendy Williams today to discuss their new VH1 TV series, T.I. And Tiny: The Family Hustle, which features all 6 of their children.
Watch the interview after the break. Also after the break, watch the full episode of their show before it airs on VH1 on Monday, Dec. 5 (courtesy of That Snitch), and watch T.I. and Tiny on VH1's Big Morning Buzz today!
Last night, following 'Love & Hip Hop' episode 3, VH1 aired a sneak peek of T.I.'s new reality series 'T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle', which premieres Monday, Dec. 5.
The series is based on the post-prison life of rapper T.I., and the different hustles that T.I., Tiny and their children have going on. For instance, T.I.'s son Domani, whom he dotes on, is following in his father's footsteps by picking up the mic.
Tiny's friends, who sometimes travel with the couple on the road, provide the necessary drama in the series. But the focus seems to be primarily on cash money, and T.I.'s drive to keep the cash pipelines open now that his legal problems are over.
"No matter how long it took for me to get it right, it never get wrong again," says T.I. emphatically.
He adds: "The most important thing to me in the world: God, family, hustle, in that order."
