Jada Pinkett-Smith cast in Batman Prequel

Actress and part-time rocker Jada Pinkett-Smith, 42, has been cast in FOX TV's Batman prequel series, TVline.com reports.

Pinkett-Smith, pictured above in a stock photo dated Feb. 1, 2013, will star as Fish Mooney, a sadistic gangster boss and nightclub owner. Pinkett-Smith's last TV role was her self-produced Hawthorne RN, a medical drama series that was canceled due to poor ratings.
