Pasco County Sheriff's Office

The Pasco County Sheriff's Department was forced to admit their error after mislabelling actress Stacey Dash as "white" on their arrest report.

The 'Clueless' star pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, after she was arrested for allegedly slapping and scratching her husband, attorney Jeffrey Marty at their New Port Richey, Florida home on Sunday.

The actress was bonded out of jail by her husband on Monday morning, Sept. 30.

When filling out the arrest report, a deputy mistakenly labeled Dash - who has a Black father and Mexican mother - as "white" on the booking form.

The unfortunate error resulted in a fierce genetics debate on social media. Black Twitter users, who previously revoked Dash's Black card for being a Trump supporter, were now angry that Dash appeared to abandon the Black community.

As the debate raged on the blogs on Wednesday, a spokesperson for the Pasco Sheriff's Department admitted the mistake, explaining:

"Stacey Dash was never asked her race by the arresting deputy, nor did she volunteer any information about her race. The arresting deputy assumed that she was Hispanic.

"However, the Pasco Sheriff's Office follows the Department of Justice Uniform Crime Reporting standards and, according to the DOJ reporting requirements the only allowable races are: Asian/Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, Black/African American, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Unknown, or White."

Hispanic and Mexican are not races. But the sheriff's representative added that reports do list a Hispanic option if a deputy fills out the booking form by hand. The option is not available on digital (online) copies, so her race will likely not be updated.

Deputies also mistook the star's middle name for her surname, incorrectly calling her Stacey Dash Lauretta. This led to speculation that the booking sheet was Photoshopped.

Dash has been given access to a public defender because she applied for indigent status and can't afford a lawyer.

Dash has fallen on hard times since she was fired as a political pundit on Fox News in 2017.

Rapper Dave East is facing battery charges after a groupie accused him of attacking her during a wild threesome in his Las Vegas hotel room.

The 31-year-old Gemini was cited for battery on a woman after he invited 2 groupies back to his hotel room for a private after party.

The steamy sex session started out normally, but things went left quickly when the woman got upset that the "Hate Me Now" rapper showed the other groupie more love.

The groupie "flipped out" and threw champagne bottles and a soap dish from across the room. 2 of the bottles hit their target, leaving cuts on East's arm and leg, which police noted in their report.

The woman claimed she and East got into an argument and he threw 5 or 6 punches at her, hitting her once on the arm.

She said she fled to the bathroom, where she called 911.

But Dave's attorney, Stacey Richman, released a statement to Sandrarose.com, alleging that the groupie stole Dave's cell phones when she fled the room:

"The woman threw a soap dispenser and bottles of champagne at Dave. One of the bottles shattered on the wall, sending glass flying and cutting Dave. Another bottle hit Dave with force in the head. The woman sought to continue her assault. Dave did not respond with violence. Instead Dave was concerned for everyone's safety. Dave justifiably took the woman by the arm and put her out of the room. Dave did not assault anyone. He was ordered by his doctor to get CAT scan after the incident. We are waiting on the results. It was later learned that the woman had secreted Dave's phones in her handbag. – Stacey Richman

Rapper Dave East is facing battery charges after he allegedly attacked a woman during a threesome in his Las Vegas hotel room.

The 31-year-old Gemini was cited for battery on a woman after he invited 2 groupies back to his hotel room for a private after party.

According to TMZ, one of the women was upset that the "Hate Me Now" rapper showed the other groupie more attention during the intimate encounter.

The groupie "flipped out" and threw champagne bottles from across the room. 2 of the bottles hit their target, leaving cuts on East's arm and leg, which police noted in their report.

The woman's version of the story was different. She told cops that during the steamy sexual encounter, she and East got into an argument and he threw 5 or 6 punches at her, hitting her once on the arm.

She said she fled to the bathroom, where she called 911.

Other witnesses, including a man and woman, said they entered the bedroom after the ruckus began.

A female witness stated the woman was the aggressor in the altercation, while East's buddy only recalled seeing the woman hurling bottles.

Both parties were cited for misdemeanor battery, but nobody was arrested. Dave and the woman were treated at separate hospitals, according to TMZ.

Question: Ladies, would you go back to a hotel room with a rapper? Which rapper?

Update: Dave East's camp reached out to Sandrarose.com with more information about the altercation between East and a woman:

"In your piece, can you please update to include the statement from Dave's attorney, Stacey Richman, who says the woman threw a soap dispenser at Dave -- but says the rapper didn't respond with violence, and instead was concerned for everyone's safety. Richman claims Dave justifiably took her by the arm and put her out of the room.

Richman denies Dave assaulted anyone and says he got a CAT scan after the alleged incident ... doctor's orders. They are waiting on the results."
