Reality TV personality Joe Budden is no longer a fugitive from justice. The 33-year-old former hip hop star was wanted by the NYPD for allegedly assaulting his 25-year-old girlfriend and running off with her cell phone last weekend. Budden turned himself in to police today after pleading his case on Twitter. “Real women never call the cops,” he tweeted.

Chris Brown Rejects Plea Deal

Troubled singer Chris Brown is heading back to court to stand trial for assaulting a fan in D.C.

Gossip tabloid TMZ caught up with the 25-year-old singer as he rushed into his lawyer’s office today. Brown was prepared to accept a plea deal with a D.C. prosecutor to avoid jail time but the deal fell apart because Brown and the prosecutor couldn’t agree on the terms of the plea bargain.

A 20-year-old rapper was shot dead in front of 3,000 shocked fans in Brazil early Sunday. Cell phone footage shows MC Daleste talking to the crowd when a shot rang out and the rapper fell to the stage mortally wounded. MC Daleste, real name Daniel Pellegrine, was giving a free performance at a public housing complex in San Paolo when he was shot. The rapper was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. MC Daleste’s grieving father said jealousy and envy were to blame for the violence that claimed his son’s life.

Chief Keef

Chicago rapper Chief Keef was detained by Chicago police today shortly after paying a speeding ticket.

The rapper, whose real name is Keith Cozart, pleaded guilty this morning to a speeding charge. He was ordered to pay $531 in fines and put on probation for 18 months. Cozart was also ordered to perform 60 hours of community service.

“I think you think you’re invincible, and you’re certainly not,” Cook County Circuit Court Judge Earl Hoffenberg chastised Keef. “Violate [conditions of the plea agreement] and you’ll find out you’re not. I sure hope I don’t see you again, because if I do you better be ready to go to jail.”

“I’m really not sympathetic to people who don’t listen to me,” the judge added.
