Kim Kardashian has defended the backlash to her SKIMS maternity shapewear line after many people, including Jameela Jamil, attacked the ads.

The 39-year-old reality star took to Instagram over the weekend to share images from the new maternity shapewear collection, showing pregnant women sporting high-waisted panties, bodysuits and shorts.

However, some people took issue with the maternity line - since they are designed to hide flab and extra rolls.

Jameela, who is an outspoken critic of the Kardashians and their shenanigans, commented:

"I wish we could just normalize just focusing on the inside of a pregnant body, not the outside. You don't need your shape corrected or hidden... Pregnancy is hard enough, with enough worries already... If I ever have a baby I'm welcoming the stretch marks, the new curves and I'm sure as s**t not gonna rush to try and snap back, I'm just gonna let my body heal from the Massive event that has occurred inside my body."

Others complained that SKIMS did a terrible job Photoshopping an African woman into the ad. The African model is Photoshopped to darken her skin and she throws a large shadow on the model next to her. The other models have no such shadowing - even though they were snapped under the same studio lighting.

BACKGRID

Kim took to her Twitter page to insist that the pieces are designed to support a pregnant woman's bump - not hide it.

"To anyone who has an issue with maternity solutionwear, and if you haven't been pregnant before you may not know the struggle of what it's like carrying all of this weight the way I did along with millions of strong women, @skims maternity line is not to slim but to support," she wrote.

"The belly part doesn't slim your belly. It's actually sheer and a thinner layered material compared to the rest of the garment. It provides support to help with the uncomfortable weight being carried in your stomach which affects your lower back -and the compression on the leggings helps with pain relief caused by swelling. It is also worn after you have given birth and provides the comfort and support that most women need after delivery especially if you are recovering from a cesarean."

Kim added that the new line, available in nine colors and from sizes XXS to 5X, was created in response to "the tens of thousands of pregnant women who wrote us requesting it".

The internet is celebrating the news that reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians will end in 2021.

Kim Kardashian made the announcement via Instagram on Tuesday, revealing the show, which debuted on E! in 2007, will shut down after 2 more seasons in 2021.

Addressing fans, Kim said, "It is with heavy hearts that we've made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up With the Kardashians. After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years..."

Reports are that the poorly-rated reality show got the ax because manager Kris Jenner got greedy.

According to OK! magazine, E! network refused to pay another $150 million to keep Kim Kardashian and her sisters dipped in diamonds and furs for another five years.

Jeff Vespa/WireImage

"The last deal Kris Jenner signed was in 2017 giving her and the family $30 million per season. That deal has expired, and greedy Kris wanted at least $40 million per season to continue even though ratings have been declining dramatically," a source tells OK! exclusively.

KUWTK averaged less than 1 million viewers per episode despite hundreds of millions of social media followers.

"The negotiations were going nowhere. E! was interested in keeping the show on the air, but there was no way the network could continue paying the family the same amount of money for almost half as many viewers. In the end it was better for everyone to say goodbye," the insider adds.

"Although Kris isn't giving up just yet, she is busy on the phone shopping the show around to other networks. But not at a discounted price."

Kim Kardashian made the announcement via Instagram on Tuesday, revealing the show, which debuted on E! in 2007, will shut down after 2 more seasons in 2021.

"After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years - through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We'll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way."

Kim also thanked producer Ryan Seacrest and his E! team for "documenting our lives".

"Our last season will air early next year in 2021," Kardashian added. "Without Keeping Up With the Kardashians, I wouldn't be where I am today. I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years. This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever."

The news comes as Kim and her husband Kanye West fight to save their marriage after living apart in different states for two years.

West is also currently staging an unlikely bid to replace Donald Trump as U.S. President.

Kanye West reportedly splashed out a lot of cash on his struggling presidential campaign.

The 43-year-old mega producer and fashion mogul shelled out almost $6 million out of his own pocket to finance his presidential campaign, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The majority of the funds came from a personal loan he made to his campaign, according to a finance report that was filed with the Federal Election Commission on Friday.

The "Gold Digger" rapper has spent $5.86 million so far, with most of that money going toward consultation and other fees. He apparently loaned his own campaign more than $6.7 million during July and August.

Other sources of income reveal that Kanye has received small donations from other people supporting his bid for the Oval Office.

The hip-hop star's presence in the race has proven controversial, with Democratic Party officials accusing him of running as a "spoiler candidate" to siphon votes away from their nominee, former Vice President Joe Biden.

Meanwhile, Kanye and his Sunday service choir were in Atlanta over the weekend. They were spotted filming at Pinewood Studios early Sunday morning. This photo was snapped by @shopperfindssalesforyou who posted it to Instagram.

She captioned the image: "Morning service with Kanye West filming by my house this morning. Like walking on water!"

A source tells Sandrarose.com that Kanye attended Teyana Taylor's baby shower in Atlanta last night. Invited guests included Future's ex-girlfriend Lori Harvey and her new beau.

In other Kanye news, he is reportedly shopping for a ranch to call his new home in a suburb outside of Atlanta. That's right, Kanye is moving to the Atlanta area!

As you know, Kanye and his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, parted ways 2 years ago after the musician moved to Wyoming.

Kanye, who was born in Atlanta, apparently wants to get as far away from the Kardashian Klan as possible.

Kim Kardashian continues her criminal justice advocacy by demanding "sensible moderate" police reform in the United States.

While the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star's estranged husband Kanye West is running for President from his ranch in Wyoming, the reality star, who is raising two sons on her own in Calabasas, is urging her followers to vote yes for police reform on California Senate Bill 731.

BACKGRID

The 39-year-old tweeted: "Right now it's ok if a police officer in California breaks the law while on the job. They cannot be sued for breaking the law. Please vote YES on #SB731 for sensible moderate police reform."

She added. "This will just make police officers accountable if they break the law. Please we are calling for your leadership, @AssemblyDems and @Rendon63rd. #YesOnSB731."

The tweet comes days after police in Kenosha, Wisconsin shot a Black man, Jacob Blake, four times in the back as he leaned into his SUV. He is paralyzed from the waist down and may never walk again.

Kim recently reached a critical point in her marriage to Kanye, after he revealed sensitive private details of their marriage at a campaign rally last month in South Carolina. Kanye told attendees the couple had planned to abort eldest child North West while also ranting about legendary civil rights figure Harriet Tubman.

Kanye's campaign has been plagued with setbacks as he failed to get on the ballot in a majority of states, including his adoptive home of Wyoming as well as his native Illinois, and the key swing state of Wisconsin. He also missed filing deadlines or was rejected in states including California, Florida and Pennsylvania.

The "Gold Digger" rapper is suing Ohio's elections chief after he was denied a spot on the state's ballot.

Kim has asked for sympathy for his worrisome behavior, which she attributes to his battle with bipolar disorder.

Master P called out "fake people" trying to jump on the bandwagon to free his brother Corey Miller after his No Limit Chronicles on BET renewed interest in his brother's murder case.

Kim Kardashian-West teamed up with Miller's former flame, singer Monica Arnold to help free Miller from prison.

But Master P wasn't impressed with the attention-seeking celebrities efforts.

Miller, 49, was convicted in 2009 of the shooting death of 16-year-old fan Steve Thomas at a nightclub in Louisiana. Miller maintained his innocence but was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.

Kim Kardashian is using her considerable political connections to help free incarcerated rapper C-Murder, real name Corey Miller.

After new evidence allegedly came to light, the reality TV star and lawyer-in-training Kim, 39, has turned her attention to freeing the 49-year-old who is best known as the love of singer Monica's life.

According to insiders, Monica reached out to Kim via private message on Twitter and pleaded with her to help free her man.

C-Murder is pictured in 2006 with a former girlfriend in his native New Orleans.

The former rapper, brother of rap mogul Master P, was convicted in 2009 of the shooting of 16-year-old fan Steve Thomas at a nightclub. He maintained his innocence but was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.

Miller was released from prison on house arrest in 2003 after Judge Martha Sassone granted a new trial based on the claim that prosecutors withheld key information.

But Judge Sassone lost her 2008 bid for re-election to Judge Ellen Kovach, who reviewed a prosecutor’s request to send Miller back to jail.

In 2009, while still on house arrest, Miller was convicted of second-degree murder and sentence to life in prison.

Two witnesses have since recanted their testimony, saying their witness statements were coerced by investigators.

"The jury convicted Corey 10-2 and he was sentenced to life in prison. If his trial was today, the jury would have had to be unanimous for him to be convicted," Kim tweeted on Sunday.

"Since his trial, witnesses have recanted, new evidence of his potential innocence has come to light, and there are claims of jurors being pressured into voting to convict," Kim tweeted. "True justice for the young man requires that the person who actually killed him be held responsible and that Corey Miller be returned home to his kids."

She added that she's teaming up with Monica, who previously dated Miller, in a bid to prove his innocence.

"Corey deserves to come home to his girls and be the father they need, be the artist & leader he's always been as well as spread hope to those who have also experienced this," Monica said in a post on her Instagram page.

Kim has actively advocated for criminal justice reform in the U.S. She successfully lobbied President Donald Trump to pardon grandmother Alice Marie Johnson, who was serving a life sentence without parole for a non-violent drug offense.

Kanye West seemed relaxed and worry-free after arriving in Miami on Sunday, following a family vacation with estranged wife Kim Kardashian-West and their four children.

A source tells ET that Kanye is "in a great place" after spending a week with Kim and their children, daughters North and Chicago and sons Saint and Psalm.

The source added that Kanye is "feeling creatively inspired" by the trip abroad for a little fun in the sun.

Paparazzi photos show the family, their nannies and security team exiting a private jet in Miami after vacationing in the Dominican Republic.

"The family seemed fine. The kids were having a great time," an eyewitness tells ET. "You could see [the kids] running around as they waited to get off of the plane. Kim got off the plane with the kids first. When they were about halfway down the runway Kanye exited the plane."

"Kim seemed fine and not worried at all; she had the kids close by her," the witness said. "Kanye didn’t seem worried either. He walked with his head up the whole time."

On Friday, the independent presidential candidate fired back at Wisconsin Democratic Party for spying on his presidential campaign.

In documents obtained by TMZ, Kanye claimed the Democrats hired a private investigator to spy on him, as part of an "organized effort of harassment and intimidation".

He also said the Democrats were wasting their time because nothing they turned up can harm his presidential chances.

"The goal is to win," he tweeted on Aug. 6.

Kanye needed 2,000 signatures from registered voters to get his name on the ballot in Wisconsin.

But the Wisconsin Democratic Party accused the rap producer of submitting bogus signatures. They included affidavits from people who claim they were "tricked" into signing their names.

According to TMZ, the Elections Commission will review the legal papers and make a recommendation whether to allow Kanye's name on the ballot.

He was already kicked off the ballot in his home state of Illinois, where election officials claim more than half of his submitted signatures were invalid.

Caitlyn Jenner confirmed Kanye West is living alone in Wyoming -- away from his estranged wife Kim Kardashian and their four children.

Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, insisted that despite West's recent Twitter meltdown, the rapper is "a good person" with "a big heart".

The 70-year-old Olympian, who was married to Kanye's mother-in-law, and is the father of two of her 5 children, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, appeared on British TV show Good Morning Britain on Monday, Aug. 3, and voiced support for the "Gold Digger" rapper, who is determined to be the 46th president of the United States.

"Well, honestly I don't know," Jenner responded when asked about West's political ambitions. "Since all of this has come down, I have just kind of watched it just like everybody else. I haven't had a chance (to speak to him), he is living up in Wyoming most of the time.

"So, I just wish him the best. I made that as a joke about being his VP when he announced that. But I hope for the best for him. He's a really good guy."

The male-to-female reality TV star went on to praise the 43-year-old rap producer, who suffers from bipolar disorder, for being "a good friend", especially during the years when Jenner underwent gender transition.

"The only thing I can talk about is really how he treated me through everything and he has been the most kind, loving human being and so good to me throughout the years and especially going through everything I've been going through in the last five years," Jenner said. "He's been such a good friend."

The former Olympic decathlon winner added "He has been extremely supportive. Kanye has got a big heart... he's a good person."

And when asked about the situation in the U.S., Jenner insisted: "I don't even want to discuss or talk about politics anymore."

"It's a different world, I want to go back to the old world!... I think here in the U.S., a lot of it is political. We have an election coming up, it seems everything right now is politics, politics, politics."

Jenner, who previously supported Donald Trump, stopped supporting the President in 2018 due to his administration's lack of support for the transgender community.

The "I Am Caitlyn star" no longer politically identifies as Republican, and instead claims to be "economically conservative, socially progressive".

According to sources, Kanye and Kim have been living apart in separate states since last year.

The reality TV star flew to Cody, Wyoming on Monday to meet with Kanye following several weeks of concerning behavior, which include Kanye's social media rants and a recent bizarre campaign rally in South Carolina.

In an open letter on social media, Kim revealed Kanye was experiencing a bipolar episode. She pleaded with the news media for privacy during these trying times.

Following their reunion in Wyoming on Monday, the couple went to fast food restaurant Wendy's, and when they got back to their ranch, Kim was photographed visibly upset during a chat in a vehicle with an animated Kanye.

In pictures published on numerous websites, the mother-of-four can be seen struggling to hold back her tears as she chats with the "Gold Digger" rapper.

Once the pair spotted the paparazzi, Kim did her best to compose herself as they headed inside his vast home.

A source told PEOPLE of the situation: "As soon as Kim got to the ranch, she and Kanye came out together in his car."

Noting that Kim was "hysterically crying", the insider added: "Kim hasn't seen Kanye for weeks. She is very emotional about everything, and also exhausted. She feels very hurt by Kanye. She has tried to reach him multiple times and he just ignores her."

Kim responded to the allegations by releasing a statement, asking the public to respect their family's privacy as her husband dealt with a bipolar episode, which then prompted Kanye to shared a heartfelt apology to his wife on Twitter on Saturday.

Kim Kardashian unfollowed former bestie Larsa Pippen because the two women grew apart.

Rumors swirled that Kim unfollowed Larsa because she slept with her sister Khloe's baby daddy, Tristan Thompson.

But sources tell TMZ the women unfollowed Scottie Pippen's wife because they just aren't as close as they used to be.

Larsa's name was dropped by Kim's husband, Kanye West, who went on a bipolar outburst on Twitter this week.

The "Gold Digger" star cryptically wrote "Larsa" in one of his tweets, and his followers noted that Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian had all unfollowed the former "Real Housewives of Miami" TV personality on Instagram.

According to TMZ, Kim quietly stopped following Larsa on Instagram at the end of last year when she made a decision to unfollow everyone. The move brought her follow count down to zero.

The source said Kim thought she needed a fresh start by following only accounts of her closest friends, family and childhood friends. At the time, she re-followed Larsa.

Larsa and Scottie Pippen and the Kardashians were good friends, even making appearances on episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

But Kim's followers noticed this week they weren't following each other on Instagram anymore. TMZ's sources say the ladies' friendship simply grew apart over time.

"We're told there was no drama between Kim and Larsa -- and the rumors floating around LP messed around with Kanye and Tristan Thompson are not true."

Kim is focused on getting Kanye healthy -- although she has tried for years to get him healthy with no luck.

She also has her 4 young kids to raise, while juggling law school studies and her 3 businesses.

While no explanation has been given as to why Kanye tweeted her name, Larsa, who has also unfollowed the Kardashian siblings, addressed recent headlines in an Instagram Story on Wednesday, writing that she prays "everybody finds peace."

"I woke up this morning blessed and see that everybody is focused on who I am following and who I am not following on social media," she wrote. "I am focused on my children, my new fitness brand Larsapippenfitness, and my relationship in real life."

She concluded: "Praying that everybody finds peace in their own lives and focus on what brings them happiness."

Meek Mill denies Kanye West's insinuation that he was involved in an entanglement with the rap producer's wife, Kim Kardashian West.

West dropped Meek's name in a series of rambling tweets that he's since deleted late Tuesday.

In a statement on her Instagram stories on Wednesday, Kim writes: "As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand.

"I've never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye's right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health."

She adds: "People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try (sic)."

Kim, 39, went on to call her husband "brilliant but complicated" adding: "Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words do not align with his intentions."

She ended her note by asking the news media and fans for compassion and empathy while she and her mom figure out how to get him away from his Wyoming compound so they can have him committed to a mental institution.
