A well-connected insider has just confirmed the rumors that Atlanta Power couple Clifford “T.I.” Harris, Jr. and his wife of 4 years, former Xscape singer Tameka “Tiny” Harris, have separated. The couple reportedly split on on Saturday shortly after arriving in Los Angeles to attend the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, according to my source.

T.I. Harris’ wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris plans to launch a new line of tequila. Tiny announced her new venture on her Twitter page today. The 38-year-old mother of three challenged her followers to name the alcoholic beverage by visiting her website Tinystequila.com.
Rap mogul Clifford “T.I.” Harris Jr. appears in Jennifer Hudson’s latest music video, “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel)”. The track, which was produced by Pharrell Williams, has a soulful 1980s vibe. The sampled bassline is from “Im’ In Love” by Evelyn ” Champagne” King, according to 2DopeBoyz.

From a press release:

Rapper T.I.’s niece, Kamaya Harris, posted the following photos on her Instagram page today. In the caption she wrote:
I wasn’t going to post this but I wanted to share my flow for the past 3 days… They have been very miserable, very sleepless, & very painful but thru it all God is good almost over & I’ll be back to myself soon
The “boil” is real
Based on the information in her caption, I’m guessing she is suffering from a painful boil (Furunculosis, Folliculitis) inside her nose that can be caused by Streptococcus pyogenes or Staphylococcus aureus bacteria.
You may recall my discussion on Staphylococcus Aureus in my Medical Minute post on MRSA. I told you that Staph lives on our skin and inside our noses. When the bacteria colonizes our noses it becomes necessary to decolonize the nose with antibiotics to prevent recurrent infections.
Rap mogul and reality TV star T.I. “TIP” Harris and his wife, talk show hostess Tameka “Tiny” Harris, leave the studios where ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ is taped in NYC on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Tiny hosts the popular Tiny Tonight show which airs Tuesdays on VH1.
