Boosie Badazz confirmed a new collaborative album with Atlanta rapper Tip “T.I.” Harris is still in the works.
The two rappers settled their online beef and vowed to join forces for a new album to rival Drake and 21 Savage’s 2022 album, titled Her Loss.
“Yeah, I think we’re gonna get it together,” Boosie said in a recent interview. “We ain’t got back in the studio yet. But I think we’re gonna get it together. We’ve been working on other sh*t right now.”
The two rappers had online beef after Boosie took offense over comments T.I. made during a podcast.
In an episode of his “expediTIously” podcast in December, T.I. said he purposely pinned a gun charge on his dead cousin, Tremel, a.k.a. Toot, to avoid prison time.
“We caught those gun cases, Toot died. My lawyer said, ‘Well, you know, I could make everything go away if it was Toot’s, it was Tremel’s.'”
T.I. added that his cousin spoke to him from the grave and told him he would take the gun charge for him.
“After he had passed, I had a talk with him. Toot said: ‘I’ll take all the charges you got! If you can walk away free and put it on me, goddamn right! ‘Cause I’ll be damned if they gon’ come and muthaf–king extradite me from here!'”
“With the T.I. situation, if he did that, you a f–king rat, too,” Boosie said in a video on VladTV. “I don’t spare no m——-ckin’ body. Because if you doing anything wrong, you doing anything criminal and you cooperate with law enforcement to get you out of trouble – that means you’re cooperating. That means you’re a rat.”
Boosie later said T.I.’s snitching “ruined” any chance of them working together in the studio. They had been working on a joint album since 2021.
T.I. was livid when he took to Instagram to address Boosie’s comments.
“To get on da net & speak on shit you’ve never spoke to me about is leaving me to believe you been hiding ya heart the whole time!!!! I’d NEVER speak ‘certain disrespect’ on your name/reputation bout a ‘IF’ homie… da convict code say When in doubt… pull the paperwork out!!!”
But the two men squashed their beef after running into each other at an airport in April.
