Former American Idol winner Fantasia threw down on American Idol last night. I didn’t watch it, but the ladies of The View tried to clown my sista. Even Simon Cowell gave Fannie the side eye.

I guess if she was a contestant on the show last night she would have been voted off? Ignore the hatahs, Fannie! You see Rihanna ignored the hatahs and now she’s made history.

I like Fannie…I don’t know about some of her performances, they could use some improvement and sometimes she could use a stylist’s advice but thats still my gyrl!

Seriously Sandra, you can STOP with all the “hata” comments about Rihanna. Everyone is not in love with Rihanna as much as you, just like some people don’t like Beyonce or Alicia Keys. It’s their preference, but I will say that there is a big coincidence that a LOT of people seem to agree that Rihanna does not have TALENT. I guarantee you that she WILL NOT have longevity in the music business. I personally only like 2 songs that she has. I have her album and it is collecting dust (believe me) under my stereo. She can dress her @ss off though, but that’s about it. I love music. I love HIP HOP, but I don’t love Ri Ri. JMO

The problem with Fantasia is she treats every song like she’s still in the gospel choir..Unless you come from that background it’s hard to take over and over again..As far as her performance, she did fine she had stage presence and interacted with the crowd..however, she needs to tone it down if she wants her fanbase to expand..if she’s fine where she is then she’s good to go

I thought her performance was great! It was very high energy and the song sounds like the new thing for the summer is going to be R&B songs with a old 70’s kick-back feel to them (like Solange’s new song).

Fantasia just needs to get her look together. If she got a tad more classy, she could very well solidify herself as a future musical icon!

I’m sorry but fantasia made a fool of herself on stage yesterday. The same expression that Simon had on his face was the same one I had. I was in shock at just everything. Fantasia’s back up dancers were more pleasant to look at. From the hair, to the outfit, she was a hot mess, Vocals were horrible and what song is that cause I honestly did not understand what the hell she was singing.

I loved the performance. Funny story…I was jamming to it while I was on the phone with my mother who was also watching. My mother made the comment, “Oh boy, what would Simon say if he could judge this??” Then right after she says it, they cut to a closeup of Simon making that floored expression.

Some white woman at my job had the nerve to say that Fantasia’s performance was a mess and she was trying to dance but has no rhythym. First of all, I get upset when white people critique black people, it makes me super uncomfortable…but I had to bite my tongue when she said it since we are at work and she’s the Senior Partner’s advisor. This white woman cannot dance AT ALL (I’ve seen her try hard) and she had the nerve to talk sh*t about Fanny…you guys do not understand how upset I am and Fanny isn’t even my familia.

I AM A FANNY FAN!

I didn’t see it last night but I watched it today. I didn’t even turn the sound on and I liked the energy she brought to the stage. Yes the red hair, lips and nails are a bit much, but you can best believe that a stylist is waiting in wind to swoop Tay-Tay up, turn her around and place her feet on solid ground.

Huge Fantasia fan..but even I had to give her a WTF last night. One key to being a great entertainer is knowing your audience. IMO..Last night was not the appropriate time to get all baby Patti Labelle and let them have it. While I can appreciate most of the performance…The majority of the very commercial audience that is American Idol..Just wont get it…Thus the look on Simon’s face…LOL..

Oh yeah..and won’t someone slip her a note and let her know that she is not as small as she thinks she is..The cat suit wasn’t very flattering. Not gon even bring up those half shaved arm pits…Eww…

Real talk Fantasia did her thing. I like it, she had her Tina Turner/ James Brown swag in tact last night. I think that type of performance is more for BET than for the pink people. Isn’t Fantasia signed to American Idol as an artist, you don’t think Simon knew that was in production? As far as ya girl Rhianna, jumping from #53 to #1 is about the same as Rick Ross debuting at #1. Yes people buy Billboard spots ask Danjah. Not impressed with Rhianna at all. Baby is fresh and can dress. She definitely giving Beyonce a run for her money as “It Girl” But ask any dude who they’d rather have onthey arm between the two and see what the response is. The song is from her latest CD and it’s called Bore Me (Yawn). It’s a really good song, one of the best on the CD. The performance however, was a bit all over the place. She is so talented, but people aren’t really feeling her image.
