Obama Considering Hillary Clinton for Secretary of State?

According to The NY Post, Obama advisers are floating Sen. Hillary Clinton’s name as possible frontrunner for secretary of state.

Two Obama advisers confirmed Clinton is under serious consideration, according to NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell

Washington Post gossip columnist Al Kamen wrote in his blog, “The pick of the former presidential contender and Senate Armed Services Committee member would go a long way toward healing any remaining divisions within the Democratic Party after the divisive primaries.”

The New York senator was spotted on board a flight to Obama’s hometown Chicago where he is working on his transition. But Clinton aides say she was in Chicago in business.

The Obama campaign has declined to discuss any of the positions that are not yet spoken for within his administration.

Meanwhile, others scoff at the notion that Obama will appoint Clinton in a position of power who might overshadow him. “It doesn’t fit his personality type,” wrote a blogger on the left wing Huffington Post blog. “Narcissists like to be the center of attention.”

I hope he does pick her. I don’t care what anyone thinks of my opinion. After she knew she lost she did support him. Obama needs all the help he can get. Hillary is more than experienced and we need her help.

That’s true, narcissists do like to be the center of attention.. Hillary will just need to get over that if she is selected. She has to realize she is not the president and not the center of attention. She is on a team and has to be a team player.

The addition of Hilary Clinton to Obama’s administration would be fanastic! Orginally, she had my vote. I was going for her all the way but, as we all know, things turned out for the best!

With Hil’s resume and experience I think that would be a great position for her. It would def be a good move on Obama’s part. It again would show that he i above pettiness and is about getting the job done right. From what I understand alot of the former Pres Clinton’s administration cabinet members are being considered for Obama’s team. She would be a good a great addition.

I think it would be a great choice after all her Husband was in office for 2 terms and at that point the world was definitely a better place. So I am going to have to support that decision.
