Sean Combs was spotted out & about in Manhattan yesterday. Is it me or has Sean lost weight? It looks like his personal training fees (which are rumored to be close to $100K) are paying off.

Yesterday, Sean released the music video for "Angels" a new track off his upcoming album. The pop-tinged track features Sean singing, yes singing with a little help from T-Pain's autotuner. Angels is obviously targeted for that crossover market. The track also features a verse by the Notorious BIG and vocals by Dawn Richards, formerly of Danity Kane. No comment on Diddy's singing talent.

Interested in hearing and seeing video later.. Or sometime this month. I agree with Mizz. Even though his work ethic may not be what most agree with. The man knows how to stay relavant.

Did they cancel Making his band? I keep looking for it but can't find it. I really liked that show.

In light of yesterday I found this on Panache report...

Hip-hop superstar Jay-Z has vowed never to announce his rap retirement again after changing his mind about hanging up his microphone in 2003.

Rapper Jay-Z declared The Black Album would be his last when it was released six years ago-but he couldn't stay away from the recording studio and returned to the charts in 2006.

Jay-Z has no plans to bring his music career to an end but when he does, he insists he will slip away from the industry quietly, without any fuss.

He says, "I learned from that last one (retirement announcement) that you should just let it happen. The day that you're not making music you should just not make music. It doesn't have to be an announced retirement. So I would never say that again. Ever."

Lil Wayne has proved he is King of the hip-hop world-he has been named the highest grossing touring rapper, raking in $42 million (£28 million) in the last y ear (08-09). The rapper beat out competition from heavyweights Jay-Z and Kanye West to the crown,

Sean Combs should have showed the girls more :) !!!

  • pinky2083

I do like the song however I wish we could've seen and heard more of the girls. Diddy always knows how to steal the spotlight.

  • iscream

Thanks Daisy. I'll have to check for that. The last episode I saw the bands had to do a Janet Jackson song and two other songs from the 80's and the black guy who was beefing with the heavy set black woman with the mohawk got the boot.

I like that they have to do old school songs.

  • Daisy

Ice I like that as well about the old skool songs

This Jay and Akeys song GOES HARD makes me want to get on a plane and head to NY right NOW!!! Lets hear it for NY!!

I miss Biggie. I am crying right now.

  • attorneymom

Hell, if Puffy can sing, then I can win the the BET "I CAN DO GOOD GOSPEL & BLUES" Video Competition. WT__?? Who told Puffy he can sing?? Oh, silly me. Puffy lied to himself. SMDH

  • Seattle Slim

The song is good. It would've been better had it been someone else singing (the girls are great of course), but it works. I like it because of it's trance ambience inflections (reminds me of early Enigma in the 90s for some reason).

With that said, I am really over his choice in video models. But what can you expect when this moron's mother sports blonde wigs...
