Keyshia Cole is my girl and all, but was she really singing off-key during her appearance on Jay Leno’s Show last night? What happened to Keyshia’s voice? The 29-year-old sang “Long Way Down” while promoting her upcoming album, Calling All Hearts, which drops December 21.

Hopefully the rest of her album sounds better than the 3 tracks I’ve heard so far. We understand she’s crazy in love with the 2 men in her life, but Keyshia needs to really bring it if she wants to do better numbers in her first week than Bow Wow (18,000) and Dondria (9,000).

You took the words right out of my mouth. Keysh is always off key and hoarse/nasal and screamy sounding. Yeah screamy isn’t a word but that’s as best as I could describe it. LOL However, this time she really sounds flucked up.

oh yeah, keyshia. i recommended you join Kandi at a vocal coach, minimum 2 sessions per week. when i hear her singing, i dont feel bad about not being the only one without a natural singing ability. she too needs to work at it.

I actually like this song alot, but Keyshia struggled through that first verse. She can hit the higher notes easier it seems…the non-screaming ones. Odd.

KEYSHIA HAS NEVER PERFORMED WELL IN A LIVE SETTING. HOWEVER, SHE IS TALENTED,AND SHE CAN SING. BUT, SHE NEEDS TO HIRE A VOICE COACH TO TEACH HER HOW TO SING AND BREATHE CORRECTLY AT THE SAME TIME. I LIKE HER, BUT I WOULD NEVER PAY MONEY TO SEE HER PERFORM IN CONCERT.
