NY Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie has 99 problems — and his wife is one of them.
According to the NY Post, Terricka Cromartie, 31, is a manipulative, vindictive woman who lied about a suicide attempt because she thought Cromartie — a man with 10 children and 8 baby mamas — was cheating on her.
Obviously, Terricka is one of those delusional chicks who thinks she is unique, and has special powers to change a dog into a caring, thoughtful, responsible man.
Women like Terricka are always unpredictable when they are forced to face the hard truth that they are not that special.
The Post reports that Terricka, while seven months pregnant with their second child, sent Cromartie, who was in Miami, text messages that read: “God forgive me, I don’t want to die. What have I done?” and “I cut my wrists. I took those pills.”
In a panic, Cromartie, 28, called the Randolph Township, NJ, police at 2:43 a.m.
“There’s a problem at my house. She’s bleeding. She cut her wrists,” he told the 911 dispatcher.
Police responded to the home, and when there was no answer at the door, they broke the door down only to find Terricka unharmed and in bed with her daughter and Cromartie’s daughter from a previous relationship.
According to the police report, “She stated that she had no intention of going through with the act,” says a police report on the May 6, 2011 incident. “She said she was exercising her First Amendment right to free speech and could say whatever she wanted.”
She also admitted sending threatening text messages to the woman she suspected Cromartie was cheating with.
In the texts, Terricka told the woman that she would contract a sexually transmitted disease from Cromartie if she slept with him.
The police strongly suggested that Terricka accompany them to a psychiatric facility where she would be involuntarily committed for an evaluation. But she initially refused.
The report stated she became “belligerent, uncooperative, irrational and argumentative.”
But she agreed to be admitted to a psych facility after the state took the two children into protective custody.
Cromartie and Terricka are expecting twins.
