Willow Smith Summer Fling

So much for Willow Smith taking a hiatus from the music biz to just be a kid. The 12-year-old shocked fans by frolicking with a grown man in a new music video for her song “Summer Fling.” In the video, the prepubescent Willow sings about having an affair with a grown man.

As the pre-teen frolics with a twenty-something man, she sings: “Don’t really care what we do tonight/ Goodnight kisses if the mood is right/ laying by the beach with you wishing this will never end.” The 12-year-old who has been dubbed “Baby Rihanna” continues: Thanks for the Summer fling/ It was nice.”

Smith’s famous parents, Will, 44, and Jada Pinkett-Smith, 41, are followers of the controversial Church of Scientology. Scientologists believe children are “free spirits” who should be allowed to live separate and independent lives.

But the video’s inappropriate imagery drew harsh criticism from Willow’s Twitter followers who tweeted their disgust.

“The Willow Smith music video is so uncomfortable to watch,” tweeted @TiffanyFord. Another Twitter user tweeted: “12yr Old Willow Smith’s Summer Fling Video Sparks Claims of Child Sexualisation.”

At age 10 Willow debuted her song, “Whip My Hair,” which earned her a record deal with Jay Z and Roc Nation. But the ensuing chaos of a world tour with Justin Bieber proved to be too much pressure for the immature youngster.

In a recent interview with Vulture, Will Smith said his only daughter quit the music biz because she realized the importance of going to school and hanging out with her friends.

“At the peak of ‘Whip My Hair,’ she’s like, ‘Daddy, I’m done.’” Smith recalls. “I was like, ‘Wow, wow, wow. No, baby, I got Annie, you know. It’ll be New York, you’ll be with Beyoncé. You can bring your friends.’ And she said, ‘Daddy, I got a better idea. How about I just be 12?’”
