Media personality Perez Hilton is preparing a reality TV show called Gay Dads of New York.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hilton “will document his adventures in fatherhood with” the new reality TV series. Hilton welcomed little Mario Armando Lavandeira III into the world (via a surrogate) in February.
THR reports that Hilton is developing the TV project with Bunim/Murray Productions and OMG Productions. Bunim/Murray Productions are creators of The Real World and Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Hilton is no stranger to reality TV. The 35-year-old celebrity blogger worked on MTV’s Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, VH1’s What Perez Says and ITV’s Perez Hilton Super Fan.
The TV project, which is currently casting and has not been picked up by a network yet, will follow Hilton and a group of gay men “both single and married as they support each other through the ups and downs of raising children” without nurturing women.
“What is your typical American family like? These days, it looks a lot like mine!,” says Hilton. “I am honored and excited to bring to television a show that will be filled with love, humor and drama. What will it not be? Trashy or boring!”
Hilton adds: “Up until now people know me more for my opinions than who I am. This show will give viewers the opportunity to get to know the ‘real’ Perez Hilton and my family, as well as some other really dynamic gay dads, and the women that make up their support system. I am a recent transplant to New York City, looking for friends and open to — hopefully — love. To new beginnings and this exciting new venture!”

@Bren wherever you are. I agree with you about Perez. I stopped reading his blog years ago. He just seemed to get so vicious and like he wanted to be a “Mean Girl” so bad. He is as ugly on the inside and he is outside. I think he is truly miserable and wants to be famous. You hit the nail on the head when you said most of the people on ZMT and those other places are people who mock other celebrities because they covet what they have or do. It’s really sad

MisT, are there instructions available to her on your org's intranet or other online access? If so, perhaps you can (tactfully, lol) refer her back to the posted instructions. I deal with this too, and often wonder if in addition to being scatter-brained, are they also operating under some passive aggressive delusion that completing the forms is beneath them and they think to themselves 'well if SHE's supposed to review/process the forms SHE can fix whatever's wrong' …I'm older and further along in my career that you are so I won't suggest you do what I do, but perhaps a word with your supervisor to 'alert' him/her to recurring problems as they relate to the process may provide an opportunity for you to suggest a workable resolution. Hang in there!
