Rapper Future Hendrix is fortunate he sired most of his children in Georgia where child support judges are more lenient on deadbeat dads.
A judge ruled Future must pay $2,800 a month in child support for his oldest child, an 11-year-old son. According to gossip tabloid TMZ, that’s an increase from the $1,200 a month he was paying to baby mama Jessica Smith.
Judges in Georgia typically favor wealthy dads over gold diggers in child support cases.
$2,800 a month is a drop in the bucket for Future who reportedly earns $50,000 a month. For that reason, Future’s former fiancée, Ciara, delivered their baby, Future Jr., in Los Angeles where she maintains a permanent home.
Her permanent address will work out in her favor when she files for child support now that Future has reportedly moved on with his wardrobe stylist, Tyrina Lee.
In addition to paying chump change monthly, Future will see his son on holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas and Martin Luther King Day.
Smith also agreed to move from the hood to a nicer neighborhood near Atlanta where her son can attend a better school.
