Benzino fishing

Rumors are swirling about the real reason Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta cast members Benzino and Althea were let go from the hit reality TV show.

According to my good source inside producer Mona Scott-Young‘s camp, Benzino and Althea got their pink slips because viewers didn’t believe their storyline that they were engaged to be married (isn’t she already married?).

Furthermore, my source confided in Sandrarose.com that Mona wanted to make space for old skool rapper Da Brat and her lesbian significant other. But Brat quickly took to her Twitter page to vigorously deny the rumor. My source stands by her report.

From In Flex We Trust:

When word hit that Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta cast members Benzino and Althea got booted off the show, it was primarily because the two got into a huge brawl during the reunion episode. Now according to Stevie J, Zino was parading around yelling non-stop about how he was going to kill Joseline, Stevie, the producers, the staff and so on.

Benzino fired back saying, “Stevie J is a habitual liar and VH1 has never given me a reason for being fired.” Let’s not forget the fact he thinks they only kept Stevie and Joseline because “They wanted to keep the crackhead whore.”

Benzino fishing

Now that he’s out of work, Benzino spends his days fishing and frying his catch to make ends meet during these lean times.
