Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and the ENTIRE family are seen arriving in Los Angeles.

American Power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have begun the process of adopting a Syrian orphan.

According to Radar Online, Angelina and Brad visited an orphanage in Syria where they met 3 refugee brothers.

The middle child could speak some English. The boy told The Pitts their father was taken away by Syrian rebels and their mother died when the rebels firebombed their home.

Upon returning to the states Angelina began the paperwork to adopt one of the 3 brothers. Adopting the boy will be a lengthy process.

If the adoption is successful, one of the boys will join The Pitts' 3 biologicals and 3 adopted children -- Shiloh, 9; twins Knox and Vivienne, 7; Maddox, 14; Pax, 11; and Zahara, 10.

The super couple has a lot on their plates. Does it make sense for them to adopt another child when they don't have the time to raise the 6 they already have?

They should adopt all three. Its not good to break them up considering their loss, they will need each other.

  • Blaque Mahogany

Separating kids is some ol slavery ish. I really hate that....

  • Ms Ty

If they can't adopt all 3 leave them alone. They need each other I am not a fan of seperating kids from the same families no matter the situation.

  • Di Ana

It's bitter sweet because the boy will have a loving home with the Pitts, but leaving his other 2 brothers behind.

  • Ms. VE

I bet the one their adopting is the cutest.

  • harley_quinn2.0

I'm torn. Yes you're giving this child a better life but to separate him from his family I can't get behind that.

  • harley_quinn2.0

    My sentiments exactly.

  • SummerBaby

I hate to hear about kids being separated

  • SpillyNillie

I'm surprised that they're not opting to adopt all three...

Adoption is a beautiful thing...if I had the money I would adopt...

  • SpillyNillie

These questions aren't asked of all the single, system dependent uneducated unemployed women here in America with 6 plus kids. At least they have the means to raise and rear unlike the women we see in the news who leave their kids in cars or kill them because a man decided to date them.

  • jussaying

I agree with everyone else. Not for splitting up the siblings especially if they are all each other has at this point.

  • DianeA

What doesn't make sense is that they are only adopting one of three brothers. Under most adoption laws, you cannot break up siblings if they are together. It is harmful to their sibling bond and development. Also, everyone who knows anything about adoption will tell you that you cannot legally adopt from Syria or the children of Syrian refugees. There is obviously money being exchanged for that child. Big money. It would be considered child trafficking if it were anyone else attempting to do this.

  • jussaying

Is that a newer law? I've never heard of that one before.

  • jussaying

Oh is that a newer law? I never heard of that before. Siblings not being split up I mean.

  • CrazySexyKool

You're right about that. I got custody of my niece and moved down south when she was an only child. My sister has had 2 more since then and it breaks my heart every time we have to leave the Midwest because she's the only child with me and she loves her siblings. Neither of them live with my sister but it's just so sad for all 3 of them. They still have a bond that I love for them to be so young. (10-7,3)

  • LA

    God bless you..

  • iWasteTime

Does it make sense for them to adopt another child when they don’t have the time to raise the 6 they already have?

Now y'all know how I feel about ...
But them kids are ALWAYS with them.
They even moved them away from the razzi and the kids want to come back.
I'm not even mad that they are only adopting one, at this time. It may be easier to do one at a time then to take all 3

  • iWasteTime

that is the law in Syria?

  • MotherOfDragons, GetOffMyENuts

I was under the impression that it's virtually impossible to adopt a child from Syria due to the Shari'ah laws over there and their non Hague status...

  • SummerBaby

    New post

  • iWasteTime

    I can dig that.
But I have more questions because they are now refugees and looking to go where ever will take them. Does that mean other countries can't take the kids in due to these laws ?

  • Taylor

I love this couple, but maybe six is enough

  • Mickey Knoxx

I am happy for the child but I feel so sorry for his/her other two siblings. :(

  • Carrington

"Only" adopting one. Does it get any more nervy than that? SMH

  • TheRider

I always thought they would adopt another black child so Zahara would have someone she can identify with.

  • pizzle

So she is going to separate the boy from the only famil he has? Jerks

  • 1/8

When she dies from cancer, who is going to take care of her rainbow tribe? I agree with the other readers, separating siblings is cruel.

  • Jen_n_juice

    Why just the one child?????

  • Lady Chatterley’s Lover

That is a bold statement to put in the universe.

  • Mo’nie

Well we don't know how old the other siblings are and if they themselves are already in the process of being adopted by other families. I don't get the selfish feeling from brad and Angie.. I'm sure they have good reasons for not adopting all 3.. But one life is worth alot.. More celebrities and persons with means should step up. They can't do it alone

  • missmiami305

Can't be mad at them. They are great human beings that give back. I was moved by Angie's speech at the Kids Choice awards.

  • Endless ONEder

Is it just me or are y'all making this a bigger deal then it is??? Foreign people break up siblings all the time. It is nothing new. Many people come to America as children solo and stay here for YEARS with minimal contact with family. Hell, the brother may go back eventually and get his siblings. That's the way things are outside of America.

  • 1/8

It's a real possibility that needs to be considered. Her mother died from cancer and Angelina has a history of cancer, as well.

  • Nala Shakur

Did yal know that they are cousins?

  • No ma’am

You have the nerve to say what they're doing is cruel with what you just said? When speaking of a POSSIBILITY you say if. You said when. You do not know for sure she will die of cancer. Plenty of ppl have a family history of cancer and do not.

  • <—Doesn'tTalkToStrangers

:applause: GOD bless them and GOD bless the children!!!

  • <—Doesn'tTalkToStrangers

Hey boo! Hope everything's going well on your end

  • Aanelove

They need to open an orphanage in every continent. That way they can play out their obsession with adoption. What I don't get is, there are many kids in the US who need parents too. Why haven't they adopted one there?

  • 1/8

Jolie tested positive for a cancer gene, she had her ovaries and breasts removed, and last year, she was caught smoking. She will eventually die from cancer.

Why are humans so emotional and illogical when it comes to death?

  • Eviania

Why would they adopt only one of the boys and not all three. This seems very cruel to me to split them up after everything they have been through. SMDH.

  • Dee

Be careful of what you put in the universe. You might die before she does, other incidents can take you out unexpectedly.

  • Dee

I totally agree. The truth isn't out there yet and just taking one may be the only option if they are going to be split up anyway. I don't see them doing something without careful thought and consideration for all involved.

  • Lorenzo Chaps

It's the perfect experiment to see how each fair out in life given the best circumstances. "Best" considering the education and/or financial stability of the parents adopting.

  • Lorenzo Chaps

Hell, adopt me. I'll even babysit the kids and keep them out of the hard liquor when you travel for movie work.

Is this kinda what the situation was like when LaFace welcomed Toni into the family, but left all her sisters behind looking homely? Again, the experiment shows who came out "on top," so to speak.

  • Lorenzo Chaps

    Second and beyond don't count.

  • Lorenzo Chaps

White is right. She learned quickly to adapt and adopt the parents beliefs and rituals. She probably has no ties to South African culture or way of life at all. But then again, maybe she does.

I don't believe in curses, karma, voodoo or religion. Nice scare tactic, but you've got the wrong man.

Angelina is a walking medical time bomb and she needs to stop hoarding children.

  • CookieMobster

In my heart I could NOT adopt one and not all three.

  • Unita Lucinda “Lucy” Freebush

Eww. I refuse to play with the gene pool. I refuse to have my mother's aunt as my mother-in-law. Dammit man.

  • Unita Lucinda “Lucy” Freebush

I think I'm looking at it as "money ain't a thang" ao take the whole gang. I can't imagine seeing three lined up and saying...I'll take this one please.

  • Unita Lucinda “Lucy” Freebush

I've heard people adopting children and laying low in order to get the kid out of the country. I asked if traffickers would follow the same suit? It just made me so uneasy to hear the alleged process.

  • Readytochokemothernatureonout

They shouldn't break them up however I love all the good they do.

  • Jahnée Gill Mr.Eddie Murphy

Angelina Jolie is a violent war crimal, who's banned from adopting children from certain countries. She's also an arms dealer , notice how she never ever adopts any children from Europe, that's because she can't. Outside of the US they know the monster she really is.

  • Jahnée Gill Mr.Eddie Murphy

The rabbit hole goes deeper then that. Most of if not all of the stars in Hollywood are related in some way.

  • Jahnée Gill Mr.Eddie Murphy

I beg to differ , second cousins are blood, they share a set of relatives if not more. That's disgusting and way to close for comfort.

  • Jahnée Gill Mr.Eddie Murphy

They're collecting these children for a reason and it has nothing to do with love. Nothing is ever what it seems y'all better do the education on the 1% and their obsession with foreign children.

  • Lorenzo Chaps

You're no fun Jahnee. I like that name btw.

  • Lorenzo Chaps

Oooooh, you don't feel like taking a spin at Name that Jackson? Not quite the same but did you know Randy and Jermaine each have two kids with the same lady? The kids are cousins/half brothers and nephews/stepsons.

  • Nala Shakur

So if it doesn't count then why wnt they reproduce instead f adopt? I'll wait....

  • Nala Shakur

Smh this looney tune said second and beyond dnt count but if that was the case then they should be able to reproduce without the risk of a birth defect no? Either way shit is disgusting. N yea a lot of ppl in hollywood r related. Thats how they keep the riches in the family

Do anybody have they # I love my parents but I'm going to see if they're adopting any grown children ??

  • Molly

Why adopt only 1 brother & split them up. ?

  • Molly

    OMG?. Is she near death?

  • 1/8

She's always looked sickly to me. A few months ago, The National Enquirer said Jolie was losing weight and Brad was extremely concerned. So....

  • ???

I read a blind recently that said she doesn't have very long to live.

  • ???

I read her book . Alejandra something was her name. Mannnnnnn that chicken just knew she was gonna cash out . FOUR Jackson kids and TWO Jackson brothers? Things just didn't quite work out the way she thought. I read that book and her azz ain't been heard from since.

  • the guest

If poor women in the hood can foster mother upwards of ten children and see them to graduate high school go onto college and lead working productive lives, then Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt can adopt all three brothers and pay and afford a nanny assigned to each child. They want the public to uphold them as benevolent then the public should start a petition they not separate these siblings. How do the justify separating these children.

  • the guest

The Jolie Pitts are self aggrandizing and being unethical here. They will more than give a "loving" home, they will provide this child with wealth and access while leaving his siblings in a abject poverty in an orphanage. That is not a loving thing to do.

  • Unita Lucinda “Lucy” Freebush

Yes I did. They put Dynasty, Dallas and backwoods West Virginia to shame!I know a few folks around that way and in the industry. Didn't believe it until it came back up. It's one thing sneaking off and having sex, but procreating? That puts a new spin on being my brother's keeper. Poor Ms. Katherine can't get grown folks and their spouses and ex-spouses out her house. I can only imagine what's it like paying everybody's way.

  • Satin Panther

Damn that's messed up. With all that unrest going on in Syria, they take 1 child and not the others? I know the brothers is sad and feeling unwanted, chit they wanna live in their 60 million dollar mansion too.

  • stanley

You dont actually need to be rich to adopt, just a stable home and income. I knew a guy who was on disability and adopted 2 teenage boys 15 & 17. And he got medicaid, section 8 and foodstamps for them. The older the kids are the more relaxed their requirements become. You should check out your local adoption agency to get more information

  • SpillyNillie

I've I'll ways been under the impression that adoption is expensive. There is a difference in adopting a child and being a foster parent for children that are in the state's care. I had a friend who became a foster parent to a few teenage girls. She received the same benefits you mentioned above. Unfortunately, it worked out horribly for her; one of the girls assaulted her.

I want to adopt an infant who I can raise from birth.

  • Angela Johnson

Their rep and the UN have already said this story is not true. Plus, Syria does not allow international adoptions.

  • Angela Johnson

Like you said Syria doesn't allow international adoptions. So this story is completely false.

  • Angela Johnson

The National Enquirer also said she was adopting 50 kids, she's been pregnant 25 times , and that she and Brad have broken up 20 times. The media didn't know about her surgeries until she shared them so I doubt they know if she's sick.

  • stanley

That's sucks.. It worked out for my Friend though. His 2 boys were brothers, and they was glad to get out of the foster care system and they was very respectful to their dad. It was funny because he was only 26 years old lol.. And was only 10-11 years older than his 2 sons. I guess with Men it's different

  • Blaisefiyah

As if 6 isn't enough. But they have love in their hearts for children, plus they can afford them and will spend time with them and that is all that matters. God bless their hearts.

  • Lorenzo Chaps

I can tell you're taking this serious and aren't used to my responses. I don't believe in kissing cousins of any kind or blood line, sweet thang.

  • Nala Shakur

I wnt say takin it serious but it did sound convincing lol

  • Lorenzo Chaps

lol. no no no no no. uh uh. But it sounded convincing huh? I should be writing something and getting paid for it. HA.

  • ShameTheDevil

    I love them

  • Molly

Sad, she may outlive us all but I don't believe they're revealing her true health status. ?Such a rampant toxic cancer gene N her family?

  • Bernadette Jackson

6? Nahh. Eight is Enough! But then, they might be cheaper by the dozen!

  • Bernadette Jackson

The other two were too slow to learn English. F em!
