Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Adopting a 7th Child

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and the ENTIRE family are seen arriving in Los Angeles.

American Power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have begun the process of adopting a Syrian orphan.

According to Radar Online, Angelina and Brad visited an orphanage in Syria where they met 3 refugee brothers.

The middle child could speak some English. The boy told The Pitts their father was taken away by Syrian rebels and their mother died when the rebels firebombed their home.

Upon returning to the states Angelina began the paperwork to adopt one of the 3 brothers. Adopting the boy will be a lengthy process.

If the adoption is successful, one of the boys will join The Pitts' 3 biologicals and 3 adopted children -- Shiloh, 9; twins Knox and Vivienne, 7; Maddox, 14; Pax, 11; and Zahara, 10.

The super couple has a lot on their plates. Does it make sense for them to adopt another child when they don't have the time to raise the 6 they already have?

    These questions aren't asked of all the single, system dependent uneducated unemployed women here in America with 6 plus kids. At least they have the means to raise and rear unlike the women we see in the news who leave their kids in cars or kill them because a man decided to date them.

    I agree with everyone else. Not for splitting up the siblings especially if they are all each other has at this point.

    What doesn't make sense is that they are only adopting one of three brothers. Under most adoption laws, you cannot break up siblings if they are together. It is harmful to their sibling bond and development. Also, everyone who knows anything about adoption will tell you that you cannot legally adopt from Syria or the children of Syrian refugees. There is obviously money being exchanged for that child. Big money. It would be considered child trafficking if it were anyone else attempting to do this.

    You're right about that. I got custody of my niece and moved down south when she was an only child. My sister has had 2 more since then and it breaks my heart every time we have to leave the Midwest because she's the only child with me and she loves her siblings. Neither of them live with my sister but it's just so sad for all 3 of them. They still have a bond that I love for them to be so young. (10-7,3)

    Now y'all know how I feel about ...
    But them kids are ALWAYS with them.
    They even moved them away from the razzi and the kids want to come back.
    I'm not even mad that they are only adopting one, at this time. It may be easier to do one at a time then to take all 3

    Well we don't know how old the other siblings are and if they themselves are already in the process of being adopted by other families. I don't get the selfish feeling from brad and Angie.. I'm sure they have good reasons for not adopting all 3.. But one life is worth alot.. More celebrities and persons with means should step up. They can't do it alone

    Is it just me or are y'all making this a bigger deal then it is??? Foreign people break up siblings all the time. It is nothing new. Many people come to America as children solo and stay here for YEARS with minimal contact with family. Hell, the brother may go back eventually and get his siblings. That's the way things are outside of America.

    It's a real possibility that needs to be considered. Her mother died from cancer and Angelina has a history of cancer, as well.

    They need to open an orphanage in every continent. That way they can play out their obsession with adoption. What I don't get is, there are many kids in the US who need parents too. Why haven't they adopted one there?

    Jolie tested positive for a cancer gene, she had her ovaries and breasts removed, and last year, she was caught smoking. She will eventually die from cancer.

    If poor women in the hood can foster mother upwards of ten children and see them to graduate high school go onto college and lead working productive lives, then Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt can adopt all three brothers and pay and afford a nanny assigned to each child. They want the public to uphold them as benevolent then the public should start a petition they not separate these siblings. How do the justify separating these children.

    The Jolie Pitts are self aggrandizing and being unethical here. They will more than give a "loving" home, they will provide this child with wealth and access while leaving his siblings in a abject poverty in an orphanage. That is not a loving thing to do.

    Yes I did. They put Dynasty, Dallas and backwoods West Virginia to shame!I know a few folks around that way and in the industry. Didn't believe it until it came back up. It's one thing sneaking off and having sex, but procreating? That puts a new spin on being my brother's keeper. Poor Ms. Katherine can't get grown folks and their spouses and ex-spouses out her house. I can only imagine what's it like paying everybody's way.

    You dont actually need to be rich to adopt, just a stable home and income. I knew a guy who was on disability and adopted 2 teenage boys 15 & 17. And he got medicaid, section 8 and foodstamps for them. The older the kids are the more relaxed their requirements become. You should check out your local adoption agency to get more information

    I've I'll ways been under the impression that adoption is expensive. There is a difference in adopting a child and being a foster parent for children that are in the state's care. I had a friend who became a foster parent to a few teenage girls. She received the same benefits you mentioned above. Unfortunately, it worked out horribly for her; one of the girls assaulted her.

    I want to adopt an infant who I can raise from birth.

    The National Enquirer also said she was adopting 50 kids, she's been pregnant 25 times , and that she and Brad have broken up 20 times. The media didn't know about her surgeries until she shared them so I doubt they know if she's sick.

    That's sucks.. It worked out for my Friend though. His 2 boys were brothers, and they was glad to get out of the foster care system and they was very respectful to their dad. It was funny because he was only 26 years old lol.. And was only 10-11 years older than his 2 sons. I guess with Men it's different
