Saved By the Bell alumni Lark Voorhies has filed for divorce from her gang banger husband, Jimmy Green. The divorce comes 6 months after their quickie Las Vegas wedding. By Hollywood standards, six months is a lifetime for marriages.
In a bizarre interview with Entertainment Tonight, Voorhies, 41, said she married Green for love. “We’re selectively together for all the right reasons,” she said.
The divorce action came after Voorhies’ mom, Patricia, filed for a restraining order against Green in July.
According to court documents, Green insisted on sleeping at Patricia’s home, where Voorhies was living. When Patricia barred him from her home, he allegedly threatened her.
Patricia stated Voorhies lives with her because she is mentally and emotionally unstable.
Voorhies denied those claims in her interview with ET, saying she has “always been mentally healthy.”
