An Atlanta judge dealt a legal setback to singer Ciara Wilson.
On Wednesday the judge ruled that a series of tweets by rapper Future did not meet the criteria to prove singer Wilson’s career was damaged.
Earlier this year Ciara filed a $15 million defamation lawsuit against her former fiancé alleging he ruined her public image as a singer.
In a moment of anger, Future fired off tweets such as, “this bitch got control problems.”
But a judge ruled the tweets were not admissible since they don’t prove her case.
Future filed a countersuit against Ciara in April, calling her a “washed up singer”. He later dropped the lawsuit.
The rapper’s friends insist Ciara is a bitter woman bent on revenge after Future cheated on her with a lesser while they were still engaged.
Ciara and Future co-parent a son together. She allegedly married milquetoast NFL quarterback Russell Wilson in order to make Future jealous.
