Feminists are up in arms about comments made by rapper-turned-hood spokesman T.I. Harris in defense of fellow rapper Nelly.
Nelly was arrested following a sexual romp with a fan on his tour bus near Auburn, WA on Saturday. The 42-year-old “Hot in Herre” rapper was later released without charges.
On Sunday night, T.I. posted a short video clip on social media denouncing women who lie about being raped by rappers.
T.I. suggested that Nelly’s victim “got mad for whatever reason and left off and said that they raped them”. The father-of-7 asked what are the consequences when it turns out that “the b-tch was lying?”.
“I’m just sitting here thinking, after Mike Tyson, after mothafuckin’ 2Pac, after all the other motherfuckers who done been with girls and the girls got made for whatever reason and left off and said that they raped them or whatnot, what the fuck ever happen when a motherfucker find out that the bitch was lying? What consequences is there for this young lady?”
