Matt Lauer‘s termination from NBC’s Today Show left viewers stunned on Wednesday. NBC fired the 59-year-old newsman after a colleague filed a sexual misconduct complaint. NBC investigated the complaint for weeks before booting Lauer on Wednesday.
Lauer’s former co-anchor Katie Couric accused him of pinching her butt “a lot”.
She made the claim during an appearance on Andy Cohen‘s “Watch What Happens Live” in 2012.
“He pinches me on the ass a lot,” she told Cohen, who made light of Lauer’s behavior. “Wow, I wouldn’t have a problem with that!” said Cohen, who is openly gay.
Couric co-anchored “Today” with Lauer for 15 years.
A Daily Mail source revealed Lauer allegedly exposed himself to a female colleague during the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. He reportedly gave the woman a sex toy with a note explaining how he would like to use it on her.
