Layla Lace, Drake

Rapper Drake is taking legal action against a woman who claims she is the mother of his 2nd child. The Canadian native, real name Aubrey Drake Graham, filed a lawsuit after Layla Lace took to social media to claim he raped her.

According to TMZ, Drake admitted having consensual sex with Lace following a concert in Manchester, England in April 2017. The lawsuit contains text messages from Lace who claimed she fell pregnant after the one-night stand.

Drake accused Lace of making up a “fantasy relationship” with him after he never responded to any of her text messages.

“So I guess still in this era this is the new thing that after you tell a dude you pregnant they stop answering they phone!!!” Lace wrote in one of her text messages.

The 31-year-old rapper said he didn’t have the “energy to respond” to her and he says that’s what set her off.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Lace threatened to leak text messages from Drake, and she demanded money from him for the alleged baby.

She later took to social media to accuse the “God’s Plan” rapper of rape.

Manchester police cleared Drake of any crimes, and Lace has refused to take a paternity test to prove Drake is the father of her child.

Drake is suing Lace for emotional distress, extortion, fraud, demotion, and abuse of process.
