The Kardashians’s grip on American pop culture is over. Judging by last week’s cable TV ratings Americans are no longer interested in keeping up with the weekly antics of Kim Kardashian and her siblings.
The E! Network reality TV series suffered its worst TV ratings ever last week, according to Roger Friedman’s Showbiz411.
Just 809,000 viewers tuned in to watch last week’s episode. The family series averaged 1 million viewers in recent years — far below their peak of 6 million viewers a week.
3 weeks ago KUWTK dipped under 1 million for the first time to 919,000 viewers. The following week they were back up to 1.061 million. But last week was a ratings disaster for the surgically altered family.
“I don’t know if this has anything to do with Kanye West,” writes Friedman. “But if tonight’s show doesn’t bounce back, the party may be over.”
