If you love Lucky Charms breakfast cereal, you’re in luck. You can now grab a six pack of Lucky Charms flavored beer to chug with your favorite cereal.
A brewery in Virginia called Smartmouth Bear will launch the marshmallow flavored beer at an all day event in Norfolk, VA on March 2.
The beer is brewed with “in-house toasted marshmallows,” spokesman Chris Neirkirk tells USA Today. The brewery describes the beer’s taste as a “slight cereal taste” and it is more about “feeling nostalgic and watching old cartoons” on Saturday mornings.
The Saturday Morning IPA w/marshmallows beer is a limited release only.
Smartmouth Bear issued a statement announcing the beer launch in a Facebook post:
“Join us as we flashback to those Saturday Mornings when you rolled out of bed and were lazy all morning watching your favorite cartoons and playing video or board games. We’ll celebrate those mornings with the release of Saturday Morning IPA that is made with pounds of marshmallows, some of which we toasted, along with tropical fruity Calypso hops. The result is magically ridiculous.”
