When Wendy Williams’ long-running daytime talk show is canceled after the 11th season, she may already have a new job lined up. There are talks that the mom-of-one may join the cast of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York or Real Housewives of New Jersey.
One of the current stars of Real Housewives of New Jersey tells Page Six she would welcome Wendy with open arms.
“I heard about that,” Jennifer Aydin told Page Six while dining at Coco J’adore. “She would bring diversity, an opinion and [she’s] not afraid to say what’s on her mind. It would be refreshing.”
Aydin said she heard through the grapevine that Wendy is not open to joining the cast of New Jersey housewives.
Sources tell Page Six that Wendy is holding off on signing a reality TV contract until she knows for sure if her talk show will be renewed after the 11th season. The new season is scheduled to kick off in September.
According to lifestyle blogger B. Scott, The Wendy Williams Show will be canceled after the 11th season, and her staffers are already out pounding the pavement looking for new jobs.
Wendy’s popular talk show apparently fell victim to her personal issues and multiple chronic health problems.
The news shook the 55-year-old so much that she reached out to her cheating ex, Kevin Hunter, to save the show and her career. A source told Scott that Wendy still has feelings for her ex. “They still have love for each other,” the source said.
Wendy filed for divorce from Hunter, the father of her only child, after he welcomed a baby girl with his longtime mistress, Sharina Hudson, 34, in March.
