A Florida woman was arrested and charged with felony battery on her 69-year-old boyfriend.
Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to an assault call at a home in Largo, just west of Tampa, around 3 a.m. on Sunday.
According to the arrest report obtained by The Smoking Gun, the victim and Katanya Jordan, 46, were arguing about her “smoking crack.” The victim said Jordan “was high” and began “hitting and scratching him” after he refused her demands for oral sex from him.
According to the report, the victim had “several small lacerations” consistent with being “caused by fingernails.”
Jordan fled the home before police arrived. She was found a short distance from the house with the help of a K-9 unit. After she was apprehended, Jordan claimed her boyfriend choked her and she had acted in self-defense.
Jordan, who is 5-feet-10 and 180 pounds, was charged with felony domestic battery and grand theft for allegedly stealing the victim’s cellphone. She is being held at Pinellas County jail on $12,500 bond.
