Chet Hanks, son of A-list actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, sparked outrage online when he joked about the experimental mRNA vaccines.
Chet joked about not getting the mRNA vaccines, despite his parents recovering from Covid-related illnesses earlier this year.
The wannabe rapper posted an Instagram Live video in which he claimed he was fully vaccinated, and he urged his followers to get the vaccine.
“Look, I’ve been kind of on the fence about this for a while,” he said with a straight face.
“That’s why I never spoke on it, but with the amount of people that I know recently who have gotten Covid and with, like, the numbers rising, I think it’s important for me to say I got the vaccine.
“I think everyone should. I think it’s really important that we all do this just as citizens — as Americans — we have to look after each other and get this s— under control, guys.”
Then he yelled “PSYCH!” and went on a profane anti-vaxx rant.
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I’ve never had COVID. They ain’t sticking me with that m****ing needle. It’s the m****ing flu. Get over it!”
Chet, pictured left with his father, then directed his attention to people who are concerned about working around the unvaccinated.
“Why are we working around y’all? If you’re in danger, stay your ass inside! I’m tired of wearing the m***ing mask!”
On Wednesday, he doubled down in another live-stream video, saying he’s not taking the vaccine because it’s not FDA approved.
“Just like you have the right to be mad at me ’cause I said I’m not going to get the vaccine, I have the right to not get that sh*t. I wanted to, but my immune system said it’s good. It doesn’t want to be tampered with. It said it’s good, okay?
“Let’s be real. 99% of you motherf*ckers wouldn’t use a shampoo that’s not FDA approved. But you’re willing to get some experimental, government injection. There’s more evidence of UFOs being real than that vaccine being healthy for you.”
