Chrissy Teigen wore a pair of sheer Gucci panties to announce her 4th pregnancy on Instagram on Wednesday.
The former model announced that she and husband John Legend were pregnant with their "rainbow baby." The baby is her first child after losing their son, Jack, in September 2020.
Teigen and Legend share 6-year-old daughter Luna and 4-year-old son Miles.
Since losing Jack, Teigen struggled to conceive again via expensive in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and fertility treatments.
"1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way," she captioned her Instagram post. "Every appointment I've said to myself, 'ok if it's healthy today I'll announce,' but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I'm just too nervous still."
Teigen expressed anxiety over losing her 4th child because of her late pregnancy and a history of miscarriage.
Teigen was rushed to a hospital in September 2020 after experiencing excessive bleeding during her pregnancy with son Jack. She is pictured above while pregnant with Jack.
In an Instagram post, Teigen said she lost her son, "Despite bags and bags of blood transfusions".
"We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we've never felt before," she wrote. "To our Jack — I'm so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn't give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you."
