Shumpert, who is married to R&B singer Teyana Taylor, 31, was handcuffed and transported to a nearby jail “without incident,” according to TMZ Sports.

Marijuana is not legal in Texas for medical or recreational use.

Possession of over one ounce of weed in Texas is interpreted as “intent to distribute” marijuana or trafficking.

Cops also discovered a Glock magazine and fourteen 9mm rounds in Shumpert’s backpack but no gun. The charge is classified as a “State Jail Felony.” If convicted, Shumpert faces up to 2 years in jail and a $10,000 fine.
