NeNe Leakes son, Brentt Leakes went live on Instagram from his hospital bed on Thursday.
Brentt, 23, is reportedly recovering from congestive heart failure and a stroke.

On Thursday, Brentt and a friend went live in a now-deleted video. In the video, Brentt is seen laughing and joking in his hospital bed. One side of his body seems affected by the stroke.
Brentt is currently receiving physical therapy and is expected to recover fully.
YouTube blogger Michelle “ATLien” Brown said Brentt blocked NeNe on Instagram so she won’t know when he goes live.
NeNe responded to fans who shared their get well wishes for her son.
“Everybody’s asking and concerned about Brentt and we thank you guys so much,” NeNe said in a video.
“Two weeks ago today Brentt had congestive heart failure and a stroke. He’s only 23, so he’s really young for something like that to happen to him.”
NeNe said Brentt doesn’t drink or do drugs. She added that he was tested for drugs, HIV, and COVID, but all the tests came back negative.
“Obviously, if we knew the cause they could treat the cause. It’s very scary,” she said.
“Obviously, a stroke is a very serious thing and so he’s struggling with speaking and it’s… I don’t know.”

She asked fans to “keep us in your prayers,” and she updated fans about The Linnethia Lounge in Duluth, Ga, which Brentt managed along with her.
“The lounge is still open,” she said. “You know, Brentt ran the lounge. That was his pride and joy. He loved it. It is still open. The managers are still running it with the regular hours.”
However, NeNe said she is considering selling the lounge. “This is just a lot right now on me… It’s very possible that we will sell the lounge.”
NeNe asked fans to refer potential buyers to her.
