LaTocha Scott‘s husband/manager Rocky Bivens is in damage control mode after making incriminating statements to YouTuber Tasha K.

The call aired on Tasha K’s “Unwine” YouTube channel. Rocky denied allegations he stole royalty checks from LaTocha’s sister Tamika Scott.

However, Rocky slipped and admitted he cashed the checks because LaTocha deserved the money as the group’s lead singer.

His statements were damaging to his wife’s brand and caused fans to turn on her.

Now Rocky claims Tasha K recorded him illegally and he may sue her for damages. Tasha K lost her appeal of Cardi B‘s $4 million defamation verdict. So it’s doubtful Rocky could collect anything even if he won his lawsuit.

According to Rhymeswithsnitch.com Rocky and LaTocha stopped by The Rickey Smiley Morning Show where they both continued to deny stealing Tamika’s money. Rocky said he couldn’t talk about his alleged mistress (the one he allegedly impregnated) because of legal constraints and he accused Tasha K of recording him without his knowledge or permission and sharing their private phone call.

Depending on what state Tasha K is hiding in, one-party consent states allow phone calls to be recorded as long as one party to the conversation knows the call is being recorded.

Georgia is a one-party consent state. But Florida is an all-party consent state, meaning all parties must be aware that the call is being recorded.

Rumor has it that Tasha K is hiding out in Florida.
